** Official Mayhems Development Log **

Yeh it depends if you catch between batches as weve changed over some of the dyes. things will improve as we do larger batches how ever for the moment nothing is done on a large scale.

One lucky tester is getting these very soon

With the pending release of some new gear were soon going to be merging / dropping some colors from the ranges we do as the amount "I" do is a little on the crazy side and as we grow its starting to get harder and harder to keep up.

So

1) We have a new Pastel gigabyte orange
2) Pastel Dark Red and Pastel light red with become Pastel red (its a balance of both)
3) Pastel pink will be dropped off the list (so get it while you can because i wont be making any more. Its easy enough to make your self though just get Ice white + UV Pink dye
4) Chock brown is being dropped (once its gone its gone)
5) Orange dye will be released
6) Yellow dye will be released

I need to talk to my partner about some of the other colours that i would like to remove or change

Thats very interesting and some thing we have never encountered before.

Please do the following

1) That sample please send it to us (use the contact button on the left or the email address "michael at mayhems do co dot uk" I will cover the costs for P&P. We will need your paypal details so we can cover the costs involved. Please include this info in the email, what Sort of lighting you are using, what type of tubing you are using, A photo of the effected bottles, your receipt from were you bought it.

2) We will send you out some PH strips for free to check the PH of your Liquid once you have contacted us. Please report back what the PH level of your Liquid is in you water cooling loop. The glass was it rinsed with tap water or DI water. Chlorine & fluoride in tap water can upset the balance of the PH and all so effect dyes.

3) We will replace your liquids (we will cover all costs involved)

4) Be assured we will sort this problem out, how ever it may take a little time.

Please do this asap

Thank you.

Mick

Samples booked in for testing will send them first thing in the morning and we should have the results back soon and find out what is causing the issue hopefully.

I poped around his house tonight picked up the samples and left him with some premix and dye. how ever initial tests show no problems with his set up so we need to find out what has caused it. Ive got some of the sample fluid under a analyzer now how ever the rest is being sent to uni to get fully tested so we can see what the problem is. or if we can find out what the problem is ...

Hi there,

I finally got round to upgrading my gfx and thus drained my system. Now I have added a couple of drops of the biocide and tested with the ph paper but it doesn't seem to change colour at all? I put like 4 drops in and its looks like its at 4?? It says it should be between 6-8 on the information sheet?? Do I just keep adding biocide or what? Oh and I used your water if that makes a difference.

Lol you should start off with test the water first, then add 1 drop only. test it, and only add another drop if needed. You may need to flush your system out, mind you naff will grow in it is its PH 4 lol.

Tests are on going. We cannot stipulate how long thee colour change will work for as if some one has uv light or there pc in sun light it will destroy the colour 10x faster than normal.

Oky in the pics above the there out of context. What i mean by this is the pumps are slowed right down on the edge of stopping to create the effect. A normal user will see colour change but though out the whole loop not in sections. We do not advise "any does what i do" slowing there pumps right down because it "Will" damage there equipment.

The above pics are just to show the range of colour in 1 loop so you can see the effect.

Well tapping holes by hand ,Tapping M4. Not easy ..

only 1440 holes to do ....

there are going to be a few marks on the rads (little scratches) how ever im doing my best to avoid them as much as possible. Just hope my tapping set holds up to doing this amount. Im going to supply enough screws to do push pull in M4 but only for normal fans not slim line ones.

The ones that went out to OCUK was not tapped and cleaned up like these ones but ill speak to rich tomorrow and if hes tested and complete he can tell you his thoughts.

We are sending some over to another country as well so each shop will only get a extremely limited amount of the rads if they would like to stock them. I think most users will consider these a bit of a rarity and collectors item though. Even i don't get to keep one (crys) ....
