Amen brother, roll on end of the month! Once performance is better with big complex aircraft THEN I'll consider shelling out. I really liked flying the captain sim C-130 back in FSX so I'm hoping to see some stuff like that in the future. The DC 6 looks....rather sexy though. But all that extra detail is gonna hurt performance I'm certain, so performance first

Didn't realise it was getting ray tracing in this update too. That's good.
I hope they finally fix the cockpit custom views and zoom / fov. In mine it never remembers it and does weird zooming behaviour.

PC version will be remaining DX11 for now, and I believe raytracing was one of the things they wanted to add after moving to DX12

I’ve stopped playing this game since I found out about it a month ago, as I was getting obsessed with just testing performance and getting annoyed - I only play in VR now after getting a g2, so I’m really hoping the changes they’ve made will have a big impact in VR too...

What are your pc specs?
Same here. I am very excited for the update and hope it makes a big difference in cpu bound settings. VR is less cpu bound for me on my Q2, seeing as it's pretty chunky on the GPU already even at 30fps. Would be nice to have it a bit smoother as I basically can't fly airliners in VR because its a sideshow.

I have to say I've been watching some streaming of this on Xbox Series X and it looks pretty good; performance seems nice and it also seems to load quicker; I hope that bodes well for the PC update!
