Anyone else having issues with game pass? Won't allow me to download, well not without paying.

no mate, i signed up to game pass 2 weeks ago, and if i go to the windows store it says its part of game pass and i can just click "play".

what do you see when you go to the FS2020 store page?

I'm glad that I am waiting another month before I build my new rig and get this.

I remember all the problems running Red Dead Redemption 2 when it first released on pc, its nice to have a game first but you are still going to end up being a tester

i love it how on day 1 everyone thinks its going to work perfectly without issues. its as if its the first pc game people have ever played.

I cant remember the last pc game i played on day 1 without many varying problems.

my game hasnt crashed once btw

You just need to buy the right brand GPU, it nothing to do with game code having bugs

My next attempt to install after I get my pc back from my boy playing fall guys is to change my display to 1080 instead of 4k that worked for someone, I will try anything apart from reinstalling windows,

Got it loaded from gamepass in one go. Took about 4 hours. Suggested high for my i5 6600K, 16GB, SSD and 1070. A few stutters for first few frames but then seems to run very well although CPU is maxed out. Scenery is v impressive! Even has my local microlight field so made a bumpy stop there whilst checking out my home town

Try and deleat gamepass app then reinstall it worked for me last time that happened.

R7 2700X/16GB 2666Mhz/1080ti, on 1440p max settings with data off getting around 25-30fps. Not totally pleased but it's playable.

on a 1080ti...ouch

I'm on a screen with a blue loading bar at the bottom, with literally no idea if it's crashed or installing!

on High 1440p it runs 30-50fps doesnt feel smooth at all, myabe used to 90% of games I get 100fps + on high this game is something else

Download froze at 60something gb so I rebooted.

now the game lets me in but I clearly don’t have all the content.

how do I force a validation of data?

In Windows settings apps select it and there's a repair option I think, not at my machine but there may be a cache option as well, you could try that, might fix it

I downloaded 90odd last night and now it's saying it wants to download 50 .
I tried to play but can't get into the game apart from the option screens so as I say I'm downloading this extra 50.

I thought people were saying it's 90dd in size? I hope my install isn't borked or something...

Did you buy the Deluxe or Premium edition on Steam by any chance?

I think most Steam versions - including mine - only downloaded the basic version initially. Seems like everyone has to wait for the game/service to 'catch-up' and realise you are missing content, then it will download it.

It sounds like that might be the case with yours, but only if you are on Steam and have the Deluxe or Premium version.

At the minute I'm sat with the basic version, having purchased Premium... waiting/hoping it'll start a download.

All well and good if you can download 92GB in an hour Obviously not everyone has that ability. I am 11 hours into the download and it's about half way. It is not being served to me at my maximum download speed.

Edit: In fact, to download in an hour you'd be downloading 255MB every second, which I find hard to believe.

Just go into Taskmanager and click on the performace tab to see if it's downloading and will give you at what speed if it is aswell.

Finally sorted all of my issues out. Only had a brief five minute go before I had to go out, but it looks fantastic. Going to have to look at customising the controls though. The default settings aren't very compatible with TKL keyboards. Will invest in a HOTAS if I'm still playing in a month.
