daft question - are there really no liveries other than the stock "manufacturer" ones

just the normal white-ish colour ones are very bright and reflective

surprised how well this runs on my 6 year old heavily overclocked 290 !
Yes just the basics for now, believe they are speaking to manufacturers to allow more, think it was in the developer Q+A video

Getting controls set up is a bit of a nightmare. I have an X55 HOTAS and it doesn't have any default configuration straight out of the box. No mapping option for throttle axis either ....

In this current climate, airlines are desperate for every penny they can get so they’re bound to want paying for the license, in which case it will be a DLC pack.

Does an SSD make a massive difference to this game for frame rates - I'm getting pretty choppy rates but I've got the game on a mechanical drive.

System is an I5 6600k, 16gb and a 1070 so not expecting wonders, but I'm on about 25 fps on medium.

Think my motherboard will take an M2 drive so planning to get a 1gb model.

Guys, if no one knows what could be wrong that’s fine, but where could I go to find out? I’ve tried google, twitter etc already but nothing. I installed the small launcher thing off the GP app, then clicked play to go in, but that’s when this error comes up.

On Windows Insider Preview? If so that's the problem. Having the same issue, only way I've found people have been able to resolve is to reinstall a non insider preview version of windows.

I'm getting quite a lot of hits on "filesystem error 2015294512" on Google, with varying suggestions.

Reading through, no definintive solution, but I'm seeing a couple of hints towards the Xbox app. Do you have the Xbox app installed? I think it's the first thing that popped up when I launched the game, and I had to sign into it.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the xbox app maybe or logging out and back in again.

The last time I tried a flight sim I was very young. I found it frustrating. This looks good. Is it easy to get into one as an adult or does it require weeks of reading stuff just to get off the ground? :D. Is it worth going for the top end Premium Deluxe? Not read up on it all fully yet but extra aircraft and more detailed airports?

The faster the better for this one I think.

With my new build that I will be doing soon in my research I found a video showing the loading times for different games on an SSD and M.2, the M.2 was only a second quicker , so I don't think they are worth the extra cost

Thanks - but assume Vs a mechanical drive the load will be massively quicker.

I've got an SSD but only a small one for c drive so no room for the game.

The faster the better for this one I think.

So - may help with FPS stability?

It's easy to get in the air once you have setup the controls (not quite so easy however), get the gamepass offer for £1 and try it would be the best option.

So, never been into flight sims, this one caught my eye though. Game seems to be running ok, i guess some more optimisations will come some time.

Started with the cessna traing, and it quickly became apparent it's not easy using keyboard mouse for this game at all. Happen to have a 3D pro joystick laying about, and boom, far easier. So off i went trying a few short flights, around half hour each.
Managed to land everytim so far, however flying VFR into rain clouds is not ideal, i really couldn't see anything haha

Fun so far, glad i only paid £1 for the subscription first, bargain at that price. Maybe pay for the game when it's on sale at some point.

FYI, my sig is my specs and the game set me high settings, not ultra, but seems to be getting sround 80fps average.

Hi all

So I've been trying to install the game for the last 4 hours since I got home from work, got to about 30gbs downloaded and then its just stalled for the last hour. Its flashes a message 'Please Wait' and nothing occurs. I've tried restarting my PC but it makes no difference.

For the life of me I really don't understand why Microsoft didn't allow people to simply preinstall the game and then unlock it on the 18th............
