To be fair it is just a glorified scenery generator, a career mode with some goals would be nice. I find google earth in vr fills my scenery generator needs.
If you like Queenstown try UKHU I loved scenery around this airport.https://i.imgur.com/2pPXnbT.mp4
Above clip is from the longer vid flying over Solent, Gosport, Portsmouth and then landing at Southampton as the Solent runway is too small for this plane lol.
I also flew around Queenstown, NZ (cheers for the reminder @loltim ) and what a stunning place that is:
Personally it feels like this product was rushed to be published. There is no GPU that can comfortably hold good performance, only handful of controllers will give you somewhat realistic experience. Most aircraft are in similar prop range, lack of livery, no red bull air course, autopilot broken, gliders would be amazing for the scenery.
I'd like a 737 Dreamliner too ha!
It depends, you probably won't get full blown training-quality 3rd party commercial jets for £25 though. On other sims they can go for up to £100.

Am pretty disappointed with the scenery mapping in thisTo be fair it is just a glorified scenery generator, a career mode with some goals would be nice. I find google earth in vr fills my scenery generator needs.
This product will never be finished. I would be disappointed if the current (soon to be superseded GPUs) could handle it easily.
How would waiting longer to develop make not using a hotas or yoke more realistic?
Am pretty disappointed with the scenery mapping in this
I was expecting the mapping to of been far better then it is
(maybe the youtube trailers just got my hopes up far to high)

But it miles behind something like google earth..????
Have you played FSX or XPlane? This is miles ahead already and will only get better.
I’d be gutted if I had worked on this project reading all the forums.
you can try it for £1.
Unfortunately all the noobs were expecting something completely different (beyond the incredible scenery tech) from the other MSFS releases.

Flying and looking around the island i live on (guernsey) is nothing like google earth levels of detail or what the island is likeThis has 100 other things going on AND scenery approaching Google Earth level.
Saying controllers I do mean Joysticks and Yoke both my Saitek cyborg evo and Saitek Logitech yoke fail to produce realiatic experience. I think this person has it spot on https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/580858-why-adjusting-control-sensitivity-is-not-the-answer/How would waiting longer to develop make not using a hotas or yoke more realistic?

I mean, the most obvious thing is to turn your controller sensitivity down?Had a quick go on this last night. Using an Xbox controller and doing some of the training scenarios, and the planes reactions to any input was extremely jerky. A settings issue, a controller issue, or a Cesna issue? Have others found the same?
This game cost £60 not £1 similar Netflix gives you access to movies with budget of 10mil or 20k no difference. Don't get me wrong whoever is responsible for scenery is a genius but call it "scenery simulator" not flight simulator because noobs like me who have experience flying real Cessna 152 or 172 will scrutinize your "flight simulator" aspect. With scenery they went forward with flying backwards.I’d be gutted if I had worked on this project reading all the forums.
