----------Official Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Thread----------

Played the demo last night as the cops and then the Z4, really quiet enjoyed it.

It's something different and seems to get back to how NFS use to be, I like the drifting in it.
 
The thing I loved most about Most Wanted was that sunset feel to it, the city had some kind of character as well, it was a charming setting in my opinion. Hot Pursuit 2 felt the same to me, the forest sections were especially awesome. I only hope that they haven't made this a bit too much like Burnout, which while I enjoy both games I still think they should be kept seperate from each other.
 
Just played it. No where near as good as Most Wanted but it's hard to judge the game on such a limited demo. Ramming racers is fun as a cozzer, feels like Chase HQ Enhanced but the Nissan 350z has some of the most laughable handling I've seen. The other cars fare better.

Visuals aren't anything to really impress, hell TDU looked miles better. Wish games would stop trying to do the 'social' thing with 'facebook style walls' and wotnot.

Tempted to get it, but I've got DR2, Mafia 2, and Civ5 I still want to re-play through a few times...and then there's deciding what to do about Fable 3!
 
Still enjoying the demo, the Crown Vic is actually a good cop car.

I don't like the Autolog Facebook-ness, but it does add an extra level of challenge. I call it the Geometry Wars effect, if you see someone has a higher score, you keep trying to beat it. That it's there on the hud did force me to hunt down the racers faster as the clock ticked down to the time of the leader of the scoreboard.

Just played the demo and i think its great !

Will be picking it up, there's just something about playing as a cop chasing the others down :p

Its need for speed at the end of the day not GT5 ;)
