Become grand champion at the arena gets you the rainment of valour in either light or heavy variaties. Its got a few enchantments on it although I prefer the dark brotherhood robe and hood I got off of the guy that comes to you in the night. (I didn't like the way he spoke to me so I killed him :p)

Noooooo! You missed the best questline in the game!

Quoted for undeniable truth :(

Start another character and do the Dark Brotherhood quests! You get the armour at the end anyway.

Thaught you get booted out of the fighters and mages guild if your naughty, take it this is not the case, I havnt been verynaughty yet, been havnt played for long. once you get out of jail/pay bounty is there no negative side affects?

But I have to go the way i'm going, the other way leads back into the old mines, then the lost catacombs. I can't actually get into the higher level sewers that have exits to the dungeon shops etc, because this bit is blocking my way.

yeah you gotta go through that small tunnel in the watter theres usually a lever or a turn wheel to open them u checked all the rooms even lil side rooms your prettymuch buggered if there isnt one that sid of the gate i remember mine being already open when i got there

I think it depends on exactly how naughty you are. If you get kicked out you can always get back in, but I believe you have to earn your way back in by doing something for them (I've not been kicked out, so I can't say for sure). I think it might be something like collecting Bear Pelts for the Fighters Guild.

I got kicked out the fighters and mages guild right from the start because I didn't realise that taking their gear in full view of them and selling it on was a crime! You're allowed to take it, but as soon as you sell it they seem to telepathically know. Getting the bear pelts was easy because most merchants have at least five bear pelts for sale - lugging them round at 8 burden points a piece was galling though. I still haven't got back into the mages' guild because they want 20 dragon something or other and 20 redwort thingamys. I think I've managed to pick/buy about two of each so far. Lame.

(Another annoying one was that I found a dead horse on a main thoroughfare, searched it, and somehow that means I've stolen from the thieves guild. What?!)

Did anyone fine a dead courier?

Came out of a cave and saw this fella and his horse die right in front of me for NO reason. Just stood there, keeled over and I promptly robbed him. Only had letters and notes which I have yet to read. Looks like usefull stuff though!

so should I finish the fighters and mages before I start the dark brotherhood? I wanted to do it to! I think I will have played this game for over 100 hours before I even start the quest! lol

I think you'll only get the boot if you steal from them or attack them directly, other than that I don't think they care. Selfish ****s. :D

Err? You sure you actually joined properly? I've raided all the fighters guild halls and sold on all the stuff, down to the silver cutlery and nothing happened?

I did it blatantly in full view of everyone though - I assume if they spot you taking it and you sell it then it makes a difference. As for the mages guild, I literally took retorts etc. off the table in front of the merchant and sold it back to her. I'm guessing that was just too cheeky for my own good!

So have i? Rifled all the cabinets, took all the weapons etc with other guild members standing there, then sold them and nothing like that happened. Was the stuff in the guild houses giving you the Red icon? (Steal) as if anythings red it means your stealing. When i took everything it was just the normal take icon.

Nope, which is why I didn't bother hiding what I was doing. Suitably, I was punished, but I guess you got away with it!

Edit: In order to complete all the quests, would this mean you have to get suspended in order to complete the quests to get back in? Never really thought about it.

Odd, can anyone else back me up that it's fine to take? Or back Belmit up with regards to being punished for it?

I think at certain ranks you are given privileges to the rights of items.. ?

Did anyone choose to become a vamp? What benefits does it have? Ive turned it down for now and carried on with few more quests

Does anyone know how to get rid of Shadowmere? The thing is a complete hinderance and just charges off at the enemy and gets itself killed always. I fear that the bugger is bound to me now because if I fast travel anywhere he teleports with me :/ Can't stand the thing!
