Would love to say I agree, but somehow in my buying and selling I have sold all my good chips and am left with one that will not even do 5Ghz stable. Oh well another one from OCUK is due with me today so we will see.
I also have a second GTX 570 comming so will do some 3d benches for the team too.

Yeh, you need to sign up to hwbot then join our team which requires a password, see first page - think password is ocuk.
finally got some gold cups with my pci 6200
almost at 30 points now and up to 4th in the OCUK team
Awesome dude, keep it up. You seen Aprils competition? Think ocuk should try and compete in this one. I've stuck up a s370 result so here's hoping.

Get on it dude! I'm awaiting delivery of a dual socket 370 board with matching p3 1.4s'. Just need something better than my 5900xt agp card to try and break 10k.
well i have the opty upto 2.8 but i need to find the quickest card i have that will work in the an8-v as my 5750 just will not work in it and the 3850 that was in it only scores 23k so away to try my 9800gt

Just thought l would pop back in and say hi to everyone as l just joined today, it took a little while sort things out but l have the jist of it now, well l'm of to a cracking start 7.7 points lol. Will have to alter my sig as l have changed a couple of things, but looking forward to see how my rig compares to others, well thats it going to have a couple of beers now.

thats a very good start OLDPHART, but i have to point out that your cpuz submission has been scored as 4804.84 mhz and your cpuz screen shows 4304.84 mhz, i think the mods will invalidate that entry as soon as someone points it out which is usually fairly quick

In the more tab of your score page there are little buttons and one of them is an edit button. Once you've corrected your score you need click the recalculation button which normally gets done when the server ticks over about every hour or so.
any idea if 3dmark 2001se runs better in xp than in vista ?
i'm trying to get a score to beat the guy in the lead in the competition just now and he has 33k with an opty 165 @ 2.7 with 7800 gtx sli.
i can't seem to break 24k with my opty 170 @ 2.8 and a gts 250
the only thing i can think is he is using xp and i'm using vista ?

Hell yeh dude. I use xp for all directx9 benchies - 3dm01,03,05 and 06. Aquamark too. Even superpi etc all run better in xp. I've got a nice stripped down version of xp I use with all the registry tweaks which are good for another couple hundred points.

i would expect xp to run a little bit quicker maybe a few hundred points as you say but i just can't fathom how 7800 gtx sli (not even that highly clocked) is beating my gts 250
even my 3850 256 mb should be a fair bit faster than 7800 gtx's in sli.

Easy 10k, trust me.
I just installed 3dm01 onto my main win7x64 machine (see sig for spec) and did a run at my 24/7 clocks of 900/1400 and got 55953. Yet on xp, where I can only raise the clocks to 840/1325, I get a score of 73075.
