yes there will be a new map as the current one is crouoted.
we are unable to repair that map so we will start a nice shinny new one.

Yes we will also be moving builds tot he new map but this will take time
as we expect a lot of build moves to be requested.

More details will be posted later today or tomrrow regards what will be happining
currently there is still testing happing with the new system to make sure we keep issues to a minimum
 
working on world files today and decided to check a backup.
of one of the old worlds. looks like someone wanted to have that world blow up
as when i loged into it i was loaded besaid a large square building with a load of enchantment tables + TNT + Lava + Fire.
lucky i was quick enough with water to put it all out.

well first time i was not and the explosion resulted in a system crash. not just cliet but my actual system. >.< any way i will be testing that backup in our new world to see how we get on. It is a large file so before any one asked no i will not be uploading it just yet for any to grab.

Same thing happened when FT and myself went on using Multiworld a while back but instead of TNT it was loaded with Nukes, They all went off and a rollback showed a square building with much like you described.

I no longer play minecraft myself. But I still have over 70gb of textures for mods ect on computer including a lot of unreleased textures for beta versions of mods. Hopefully when I find time to check files and update ect (probably mid next week) should only be a matter of updating with files I already have. When I got within the top 3 texture packs of most supported mods the creators started throwing beta releases of mods at me to help me prep for getting may packs updated :).

So for example:

X:-60 Y:94 Z:412 to X:0 Y:41 Z:319

This also includes some forested area around my build that's not necessarily important but if the "cubed" area was just put on a flat land I could terraform it to look normal. Is this the kind of thing you would require?
 
i wont be about tonoght.
But i will talk with admins and see if we might open it on thursday
for you all to go wild in :D

If all goes well then we will launch on friday while myself and FT are about to deal with any issues.

Do not ask about old world just yet that is still being worked on and may come online a few days after we launch.
