Ahh ok. I blame the mod server then ;)
I'm lost in the nether, and without the spawn/home commands, and other than killing myself I think I'm stuck there forever unless someone tells me the coords for the portal :D

I've noticed some weirdness too tbh. I'm setting up some monitoring of the dedi itself. If it turns out to be a general dedi issue then I will consider moving elsewhere as tbh I've had a fair bit of hassle with this hosting provider of late.
 
UPDATE

Hey all so for the last week i have been working on trying to resolve tick count issues and many other bugs. over last night and for the last 3 hours i think i have managed to resolve a lot of the issues.

The admins now have a few new tools to aid in any new issues of possible lag.
we can now narrow down to a point where lag is generating from and what type of item/entity/block is doing it.

I have also managed to activate and use a player logger regards block breaking and creation. Currently dont have one regards taking or adding to chests.

I have also been looking into new plot protection type mods and believe the towny for forge give us the best option for the server. This has many benefits for the server and for player protection. for example you can allow player access to an area for viewing and not be able to loot (this has to be tested properly) you can also add player to the plot so they can help build or grow a town. Something that will become an event type too.

regards events. we are still working on some ideas but one of them is build events of a theme for mini towns/villages.

The Spawn building has been coming along really well and looks great so far.
have to say been great working with some of the players in developing spawn to what it is now.

It has been great playing with you guys again but sadly due to the major lag issues the server is having I have decided to quit the server. i have removed all the chunk loaders I could find. (Missed a couple I could not find as /chunkloaders was being temperamental and crashing me game.

I may come back if lag issues are resolved at some point but atm the game is unplayable and I play minecraft to relax.

I am at this point annoyed with some of my findings on the server
and now i am going to have to force some changes

hunter: 50 chunks loaded in the nether
Roo: 29 chunks in over world

no bloody wonder the server is under strain.
from now on anyone loading more then 9 chunks will see there chunkloader removed if this cause a chunk reset then that is just though luck.

I have spent over the last 2 weeks hunting down issues and it turn out players are overloading the server with chunks loaded.

so the server has been running with over 150 chunks loaded at any one time
this is going to change and it will be done tomorrow when my mind is more awake. been up since 5am and trying to get a handle on the server issue.

sorry if it sounds like i am on a rant i am tired and just seen a player quit the server. So not happy right now
