I thought you were stuck at 950 or something. What vcore has it needed to go over 1000?

This card, or possibly it's drivers, is borked for me when it comes to standby/hibernation. It works but it doesn't seem to initialise the HDCP or something as I get no display but my amp shows that the HDMI connection is active.
It's not the first time I've seen this kind of thing with desktop components, sleep states are often a PITA. What I don't get is why it's still a problem after all these years when every laptop I've had (and that's quite a few) have worked flawlessly.

My 260 used to do the exact same things you've described. Not a 5850 I know but just thought I'd mention it.
What sort of VDDC temps are you getting with that block, with 1.25v?
Thats good then, I've got a bit of headroom to push the vcore a bit.
Not sure, I will have to check. I know when I was trying to find the max of my card with the MSI bios and 1.35v the VDDC maxxed out at 50C though
Nice. I'm still hoping the EK block will come down a little in price?
I noticed last night that a benchmark run of Furmark pushed the VDDCs to 60C, whereas a full benchmark run of the unigine DX11 engine only peaked em at 50C which I would think is more realistic.
I'll try it tonight with some lengthy gaming.

im getting more and more blank screens causing the pc to freeze, this happend before my flash so im sure its not that,think its gonna have to be reflashed and sent backpsu should be more than good enough as I had a 285 before its on a clean install so i can only think the card is faulty or its the damn cat drivers
I went back to WHQL ones last night as I was having problems with the beta ones.
It must be something to do with Win7 and the drivers then, except this long start up thing which I guess can't be.
Having said that, is anyone that's had the long start up thing actually running Vista or XP, I'm not and I've not had it.
