I've had some fantastic battles so far tried lone wolfing it but thats really boring currently the platoon i was in had a huge vanu tank column rolling around in Eu1 at one point that was fantastic to see, i was flying over head aiding them in a scythe till i got shot down by an enemy tank :(

Sorry, but in all honesty you shouldn't be playing the beta since you obviously do not understand the purpose of a beta test. This is the problem when developers release the flood gates and let anyone in who gets a key and treats the event as a free demo.

The game isn't finished yet, it is functional but broken in areas. This does not mean it is a POS.

Same happened to me. I logged into my SOE account, sent a ticket saying I played PS1 and few hours later, my account was flagged for Beta.

Played it for a while last night on EU1 TR side. Was an epic battle at a big tower thing....think I will need to get an outfit sorted though.

How do you apply\join an Outfit?
 
i been also playing the ps2 beta find it a bit hard to get into so maybe we can create an OcUk outfit or squad, well feel free to add me my id is Hadokan01 and I'm on the EU BETA 01 server

(the servers are locked what time will they be open again?)
 
Had a great fight on EU1 as Vanu taking the stronghold from the TR scum, tons of galaxies landing and people pouring out to rush the base looked utterly fantastic.

Anyone on EU1 as Vanu?
 
Ive created a TR on EU1 and NC on EU2... but i dont know if its just me, but im having an awful time distinguishing friends from foes, could just be my graphics settings... tonight has just been a stutterfest dropping to 1fps at times, so ive given up after getting a banging headache.
 
I don't like the flying controls with the mouse. Why can't I use WSAD + arrow keys (all keyboard) like flying in most other PC games, say ArmA.
Anyone else find the yaw is really heavy and slow no matter how nimble an aircraft you're in?

Tell me about it, WSAD + arrow just seems such an obvious choice!

Any one get their joystick to work with it ?

Also do we have a TR outfit on EU1?
