Apparently not.

Interesting that they are having separate turrets for each job rather than the general wall turret they had in PS1. Will be interesting to see how they are spaced around the base walls, anti-air I assume will be right near the centre and high up to deal with aircraft, while on the outer wall there will be a mix of AI and AV?
I played it, but it was so long ago that I lost all my logins, changed email etc.
Basically, think I am going to miss out on the old PS player fluff /sadface

Think you got the AA and AV the wrong way round... Perhaps they will be deployable turrets? Therefore allowing defendrs to change their defences depending on what the attackers are doing..
Hmm, didn't play the original PS so I will have to hope that PCGamer UK also has beta keys...
Can players still access the U.S. servers?
Under the new partnership between SOE and ProSiebenSat.1 Games, European players of the above mentioned SOE games will be able to play via ProSiebenSat.1 Games's service and will not have access to U.S. servers. However, existing EverQuest II players in Europe that have played on U.S. servers before the transition will be allowed to continue playing on those servers through their SOE accounts.
Can U.S. players log on to the European servers?
U.S.-based players will have access to the U.S. servers only.

So, SOE may now be region locking all existing/new games due to their partnership with ProSiebenSat.1.
It's caused major uproar - still need more clarification.
