Does anyone have any suggestions for good graphics/ini tweaks to improve performance. I've got a 7950 but paired with a measly Q6600 which is really struggling at 2560x1600.

Was playable previously but since the last round of updates I've got pretty nasty framerate issues, makes playing infantry almost impossible.

I play using a Q6600 with a 6950(70) 2GB.

Doesn't matter what useroptions.ini setup you try, you will get pretty crap FPS that can jump from 70 to 10 depending how big the fight is.

Multiple platoon vs platoon battles are best avoided and if you have to join one, stick to the edges or stay close to people since you won't do very well in a 1 on 1 fight due to the low FPS.

Platoon vs Platoon battles are reasonable through.

How do you buy SC through the US site? My account was made on the EU website and I can't seem to see any deal when trying to buy SC on the Pro7 website :(.

Someone might already said this, but if you low BR still. Then I would forgot about your account and register at the Sony website, if you have some trouble then use a Proxy site to register one and login with that.

But... that's not the end of it. Once you registered, go to your account options on the main website and select currency to USD.

You can only make this change once and I made this mistake with my first account, lucky enough I was only BR7 with it.

Only problem with this, you can't make payments by your mobile phone. Credit and Paypal works fine. Only buy SC from the website or from eBay. If you try to buy SC from within the game itself, the prices will be GBP. The prices on the website is USD.

Well, I moved back to my old home and haven't played PS2 for like a week or more.

I used to have a 40" HDTV as my center monitor but that's been put in the second living room so am down to my three 24"s and I just can't get used to the small screen. In-fact it kinda hurts my eyes. I did try to rotate all three screen sideways to make one giant screen and that didn't feel right and again that kinda hurt my eyes too.

Really miss my TV and aiming to get a new one as soon as I can afford one.

Been logging in for my certs through, got the new fireworks gun the other day and looking forward to trololoing with that and buying the three new Trim lights for the Flash, Lightning and Sundy. :D

Had a go last night first time in many months, didn't really enjoy this at first. seemed to chug on my old q6600 no matter what graphics settings I used. really horrible experience and the game looked like crap.

But I don't no if I didn't give it enough of a chance the first time I played but much better experience last night. Defiantly going to give it a chance. As Im bored to death of most other shooters all rinsing the same generic carbon copied formula. really impressive how well the game is played and balanced.

Couple of things Can anyone recommend me some graphics settings.
Was having a fiddle. But they can vary so much depending whats going on. I just stuck it on high custom settings turned the render quality slider right up and view distance. One thing I noticed textures at distance look lovley. Up close they look like they have been made on a 32x32 pixel map and smudged with a rubber. This normal is something screwed with my settings ?

Also any advice to a new guy on where to spend my certs dont want to waste them, have no idea whats the best way to build my guy, ie two different types of armour upgrades which is best etc. Im sure theres loads of info that would help a new guy.

This is just personal preference, but I'd build up medic and engineer certs first, repair tool and healing gun. That way you're useful in just about any fight, and get a bit more mileage out of your vehicles since you can repair them.

After that, pick a favourite gun for each class in VR, and then cert up those (I have a long range and short range favourite for each class).

Then it's just whatever takes your fancy, I built up lightning and sunderer certs, then max stuff. I hardly touch heavy or infil classes. And I can't fly to save my life :p

On double XP weekend, cert into revive grenades and max out your medic gun.

I got an absolute dick tonne of certs last night, playing mainly as an engineer. XP for people picking up your ammo, healing tanks and maxes and chipping in for the odd kill.

Normally I play heavy NC. Which is the best rocket launcher to go for these days? Is there much difference in a dedicated launcher i.e. AV, AA to a all rounder? I mostly end up shooting tanks so is there much difference in damage dealt betwen an AV and allrounder launcher?

As a engineer is the AV mana turrent worth it?

I find the AV turret useful, but only in very specific circumstances. Generally it's just an excuse for a sniper to headshot you while you stand still :p

If it's fairly close range of the vehicle I tend to fire, then hop off and move before jumping back on in time for the cooldown to come off. Makes you much harder to hit (doesn't work at long ranges mind as you need to guide it).

At ultra long ranges you can fire at the enemy tanks, which render for you, but you don't render for the tanks, as I believe you are classed as infantry to them.

I hope they fix this, I'll be honest I've used this bug in the coding before to destroy vehicles from long distance and it really does detract from the overall armour experience.

Managed to make a US account by downloading through steam and registering via the launchpad. Why do you suggest changing prices to USD IronWarrior? From what I can see it works out more expensive when you consider exchange rates and transaction fees when paying by MasterCard?

I use Paypal, always save 2-4 quid.
