It's also not his choice, some people prefer pads, and why's it pointless to ask cause you don't want to play like that.

Really ironic someone calls themselves PC-Gamer12 and asks if they can use a Gamepad in a FPS game on a PC.

Sure you can use a Gamepad and yes you are going to have a really bad time since you going to be owned by everyone else who uses a keyboard and mouse, but hey that's your choice, but if you have some sort of medical problem then that's totally acceptable and fine! No problem, can't be helped, just saying the console version is coming soon. :p

In fairness he could have only been wanting to use it for a specific part of the game, e.g. flying, he didn't specify. As far as I know it is possible but really I'd just say get used to keyboard/mouse assuming you're physically able to use them, will be much better in the long run.

Though I don't understand that even then, lets say you wanted to use it just for vehicles, well there are times when you need to quickly exit the vehicle and be on foot for a few seconds. Switching between KB/M from the Gamepad then back again would take far too long in a fast pace game like this.

On top of that, you won't be able to type anything.

I use one for flying, just want I'm used too

Sure, but what do you do when you need to jump out and switch to infantry? Land to repair in a hot zone?

What about when you see a Sundy or vehicle on the ground where you can easy land next too, drop some AT-Mines and fly away and then bomb the mines?

Just a few examples where you need the precision of a keyboard and mouse.

I just tried it again the other day with my new upgraded system.

A world of difference!

Before I was stuttering along with an E8400 and 2gb RAM, now I've upgraded to i5 4670k with 8gb (courtesy of overclockers :D). With my HD7950 graphics card, I'm cruising.

This weekend there's a call to arms on Miller. I play with the PCG outfit so I'm going to be there. Should be way better than last time.

No referral links thank you - Davey

Apologies then.

Also please if this is a rule then fair enough, but can you add it to the rules of posting sticky thread? I checked to make sure this morning before posting that, saw nothing relating to referral links so assumed it was ok.

There is no ocuk outfit that I'm aware of.

On woodman:
For NC, check out 151st, Gods (public platoons mainly)...
VS: KOTV, IP
TR: 2CA (It's all I can remember for TR)

Some people might advice on Miller outfits.

how do i join 151st ?

Goto www.151st.co.uk sign up to the forum. Go to the 'Introduction/Application' forum and leave your application there, and wait for it to be accepted/rejected. If accepted, then get yourself onto the Mumble server and ask and officer for an outfit invite (Mumble is a voice comm's application like Teamspeak). We ask for this so we know you've got a microphone and willing to use it. (Note: I'm a platoon leader for the 151st Freedom Fighters, but I'll happily give you help for any faction or outfit you'd like to sign up with :-) )
