Banshee got a stealth nerfed in the patch, doesn't kill as good as it used to do.

The map is ****ed, all the green icons for you to deploy are GONE. You can still deploy by the menu, but I can't seen Sundy spawns.
 
Shame the PTS crashed right as the event was starting. Moved event to Woodman, and Woodman (as TR) were kicking ass.... but then the other servers decided to leave :-( shame. (I was leading the FFS Platoon for Woodman).

Hopefully it can be rearranged, as I was really looking forward to using the Minigun for a laugh :-)
 
The NC players here, A good LMG to replace the stock one I've got all the awards for it i think now ? unlocked everything for it a while ago and looking at something else to play with.

Ive tried both the EM1 and EM6 is it on the VR last night. They seems like good guns one fires slightly quicker hits less but has an amazing reload time. The other i think i balanced through accuracy ?

Anyone who's played the NC Heavy quite a bit have any advice ? At the moment I have 200 certs so any more needed I'd have to earn.

Anything I should be looking at ? I find the stock weapon real good all rounder middle ground at everything works well in lots of situations. But leaves you feeling theres a better tool for each job. Talk to me my fellow NC.

*Interested in a more CQC but have not tried any of the otehr guns the HA can use yet* Only stock and those two very quickly in VR

HA isn't my main class by any means, EM6 is a decent all round LMG imo. If you want something for CQC that isn't a shotgun then try the Anchor, fit it with advanced laser and softpoint ammo if you want and then hipfire it. Or if certs are at a premium for you, perhaps the new NS PDW SMG? you'd be able to use it on all classes (apart from Max).

I often shoot at tanks with my carbine as engineer, I usually lay a C4/AT mines down over a crest and try and get the tank to chase me over them.

It works sometimes :) and when I'm in a tank I too see medics and engineers shooting me and I know exactly what they're planning :) That is to say I learnt the hard way, when I first started using tanks, I died a couple of times when chasing down an infantry.

I really enjoy the NS-15 for my go to weapon, mainly for .75 ads movement, it is kinda middle of the road for everything but really good close to mid range, plus you can use it cross faction.
But for NC I have most of the LMGs, I mainly use the LA1 for up close, the EM6 for mid and the NC6S for longer range.

Overall, the EM6 is probably the most versatile ES LMG I've found, just slightly lacks at long range.

I'm still getting annoyed by I shot you once, so I get the kill credit even if you die by something else, it's retarded that because I fly my Mossy arse into some crystal rock that some BR2 with a Sniper rifle gets the kill even though it was the Burster that made me gtfo there.

Have played as vanu and TR fairly heavily so far. I find the vanu LMG's as a HA decent but even the CARV (standard) on the TR seems to have MUCH more stopping power and generally feels better? Maybe I've just had a bit more practice overall.. I dunno (start VS went TR on another server with some mates) :p

We only really tend to run open squads at weekends at the moment it seems. If you just apply on the site you can have a trial get invited in game and join in the squads and events, get on mumble and just see what you think after a week or two. digital-legion.com

I like the GD-22s and use it quite a bit. But in the end I always come back to the Gauss Saw though.
 
Having tried it properly certed out in VR training, have the agree the NS15 is the ultimate long range LMG, I'd be tempted to fork out for one if I actually played the class much.
 
So much weird **** happening to me around Indar Bay Point.

1. Driving a buggy in this canyon and I as I drive though these two bridge supports while driving straight as can be, it gets stuck... when it shouldn't had got stuck.

This VS C4's it, I jump out to see my Buggy kill him as he triggers the C4. ;)

2. I run towards this Sundy and out of no where am on the map screen, no kill messages but I can see "myself" in some twisted way still in game.

3. I get a new buggy and proceed to shoot things then I teleport and get a second loading screen and back into the Buggy. :l

All within 10 minutes. :rolleyes:

On top of that, there is this teamkiller who keeps fellowing BMC's 100 Man Platooon and keeps C4ing everyone and there is no GM about, this is the 3rd day it's been happening, same player or two in-fact, since friendly fire only counts the "hits" and not the kills or damage, he can easy kill many without getting weapon locked.

Friendly fire adds nothing to this game other then allow trolls to do this crap.

Few of us are New Conglomerate but on Miller. If you just started may be wise to create a NC char on Miller also. You get 3 I think at the start ?

Go as Vanu on Woodman. Join KOTV who are the largest outfit in the game, well lead and pretty organised. You won't ever have to play alone.

Why advise new players to change faction and join the biggest outfit ? How does this benefit Woodman in any way?

@Red Porcshe I suggest you check out out 151st [FFS], they are tough guys to fight and probably the best NC outfit on Woodman.

G0DS might be worth checking out if you want something a bit more laid back and zergy.
