Any help?

Also, SOE have the video attached to the support ticket. 3 other people over proximity where complaining about you. Two people including myself reported you. Not surpised really from a neckbeard outfit like INI

Show me this video.

But it's not like the first time I been reported and won't be the last I suspect.

Not the first time someone on here has been accused/caught hacking, I suspect it wont be the last.:p

Would be a sad day if someone whos a BR100 and plays for one of the biggest clans on the server I use is cheating. If your not then the guys accusing you owe you an apology.
So far I've only seen one blatant hacker and that was last night when Half of Miller was trying to kill a single Vanu ESF. Virtually impossible.

I known a few guys who been accused and banned and later unbanned, few guys in INI and few in BMC when I was with them.

It really annoys me that someone thinks am cheating when I have spent something like £150-£250 on this game from the cost of Membership, SC purchases from SOE and eBay and have spent 2071 hours according to steam or 66+ days from the PS2 stats site and to think I would **** myself by cheating, you gotta be high.

Though I can appreciate on the idea that I have killed him in some weird way and with PS2, it wouldn't be the first time.

Since he won't make the video public, I can only guess at how he died.

1. I shot him normally in full sight and he died due to the splash damage from a area he expected to be safe from incoming fire.

2. My Helbred hit some C4, ProxMine, ATM or some other explosive and again he died from that, but that's a far fetch idea since my kill feed shows he died from a Helbred hit.

3. Due to the funky Net code/Hit detection in this game, I killed his "hit box" while from his view he was in a really safe place.

Number 3 is pretty interesting because, I have been killed in the warpgate by the enemy... yes inside the warpgate and inside spawn rooms and not only once, many times, normally happens when you die in a vehicle and respawn, some reason. Your body is still at the vehicle.

Planetside 2 is weird, it's not the first time someone has died and thought WTF. Sure it happens to everyone, but am getting fed up getting killed when I just ran behind a rock or into a building but my "hitbox" is lagging behind.

I recently left INI and after playing alongside IWarriors for probably 2-3 months, I can say he is not a cheater. None of INI cheat as far as I am aware... they are just clued up about the game at the top end and use that to their advantage.

You wont find a better bunch of people either, thats not just me saying it, but genuinely those who think INI are 'nerds' or whatever you call them, are massively wrong.

The biggest shame is that rather than becoming or trying to become as good as INI, other outfits from NC and VS would rather spout rubbish about them.

I've downloaded this through Steam, trying to create an account but when I fill all the required fields in it just gives me the following error:

Their help page is predictably useless, what do I need to do? :)

Not use Steam ;)

Either download direct from SOE or Pro Sieben tbh - other than that, I cant help.

As an NC who has played against INI on Miller since launch do I think they cheat? No. I also say that as someone who lets just say hasn't agreed with IW on very much I think it would be fair to say.

As he said sometimes a kill seems dodgy but its really just PS2 struggling to cope with everything that's going on in that particularly section of the world.

If you genuinely think someone is cheating, report them, let SOE sort it out if anything needs to be sorted out, move on. Similarly if you're accused and they won't accept a simple explanation then just ignore it, move on, if you aren't cheating you have nothing to worry about.

Rage tells and posting accusations here or in game achieve nothing.

Having seen Nitram post his 'thoughts' about this game here, on reddit and ingame yell chat I can tell you that he nothing but a venomous little whine queen. His likely prognosis? mad because bad.

Had same happen to me and thought WTF I didn't accuse the guy of cheating just like when I get random XP for stuff I'm not even doing. The games is crazy 200%
I can also agree with you on the crazy hits boxes and on your client feeling your in a safe place only to be killed. That's defo the PS2 net code for you.
Like I say I've been playing it for quite a bit now, no where near the amount of dedication you put In but during my time the only time I've thought my god someones hacking was last night.

I also play against INI most nights I often think "you, star star star star star" :D
But never really called Hacks!

Normally i'm whinging about how our gears sucks and you lot are rolling ya dam Toys.... Buts thats another argument :D

Personally I cant remember every being killed by you or killing you so I cant really comment.

I had to do this to use Steam. You need to add this environment=psg to the launchpad ini file Go to the community page and look at the top sticky post.

In the end I went to open up a support ticket on the Sony Online Entertainment website, it asks if you want to log into an existing account or create a new one, I just created a new one there seeing as the create new account option wasn't working for me when used through the game launcher. I gave the game about half hour before I stopped playing anyway, not for me. :p

Whatever you do, don't make a account on the ProSie website. Use a Proxy if you have too to make it at SOE (US) website.

I think people misunderstood my original problem in that I had downloaded it through Steam and everything was perfectly fine in regards to that. It's just that I didn't have an account with which to play this game and this account creation link which comes up when you first launch the game wouldn't work properly for me:

So I had to go onto Sony Online Entertainment's official website, open a support ticket, it then asked me to either log into an account which I obviously couldn't do as I didn't have one, or to create a new account. The link to create a new account worked fine there. :)

This game is so much better now, well I guess it plays how it should have done in the first place! :p Really enjoying it again.

Is it just me or when you use v-sync in the ingame options it seems to cap the game at 57fps instead of 60fps?!

I get that as well! Except i use the fps limiter in RadeonPro, I'm pretty sure the in game vsync is switched off. Will have to check that.

Honestly, try it for longer than 30 minutes. If you are comfortable going on TS or something, ask one of the outfit guys on here if you can join up and just go along with them.

I started out as a lonewolf and it was a grind, I mean I got the jist of it, but once I joined an outfit the dots started to connect and I realised and enjoyed the game a lot more.

Now im a lonewolf again, which I find fun this time round as I understand the map more, know what battles to pick, where to go for a farm, or where to go to help save / capture a base... depending on the mood im in.

Its up to you, but the game is so big that 30 minutes really dosent do it or your time to download it any justice :)

EDIT - Also there is a Double XP event on this weekend from Tomorrow until the 24th iirc... so theres no better time to get your char leveled up and get some certs to spend on goodies.
