Depends on the vehicle station type. It used to be some only deployed sunderers and down, other deploy the whole range.
It recently changed so that the sunderer ones also do lightnings now.
The icon is slightly different to help identify the 2 types (one of a sunderer, one of a tank)

You also need to be on a lattice link thats connected to a tech plant, or in your warpgate.
This is why the single tech on Esamir is a big fight normaly. Once you have it, you can spawn tanks at a lot more bases instead of driving them all the way from the WG.
 
SOE allows SC purchase via paypal but appears to not support it for AA from europe, I found somewhere that does 1 month cards so that'll tide me over for the moment.

Was worth it for the 3 char slots alone, I've setup 1 char per faction on both EU servers so I can bugger about and decide which faction/server I like/to focus on. I'm just logging on to whichever side is short of players as it means I can jump straight into defending (which seems to always turn into counter attack once its clear, so the best of both worlds)

Its definatly looking to be a toss-up between VS and NC, TR just seems heavily over populated

I really want to like PS2. So many hours sunk into the original playing a full on inflator with all the hacking certs and poking people in the back with my mag scatter.

I was in the ps2 beta but never got into it which I put down to having a low spec pc and it being beta. Finally tried it again and I'm just bouncing off it so hard. I'm not sure what it is or why. I really want to like and enjoy it, but it's just rubbing me the wrong way.
 
Good job it's free to try so you don't feel like you've wasted money on it.
I personally feel it comes alive when you play with a group. Follow orders and have fun. Knowing that there is someone who will revive/repair/rearm you is awesome too.

I have been lacking in playing recently as Elite: Dangerous has taken over my life but still have a monthly sub.

August update: Right now we're still on target for Weds of this week. The build has a lot of nice things in it besides the Valkyrie, and I really want to get it to live to help overall quality. It includes a hitch fix, hit reg improvements, splash damage in the VR zone...and other good stuff.

Got back into this, but I still can't help but feel it's just a mediocre shooter. It's always a complete spray fest with people spamming A and D.

Damn straight I was entitled for the game that I had been paying for to run.

Paying for a sub and not being able to log in during prime time for weeks, am I not entitled to log in? Would you not be ****ed off coming home from work every day and not even being able to log in to play a game you're paying for? Not sure what you find funny.

By definition the devs are incompetent.

The merge killed this game. It's just a giant lag zerg fest on all fronts.
 
Agreed. I was just facing EIGHTEEN seconds worth of lag.

Another thing that drives me up the wall is the spawn system. I've been spawning at a certain point for the last ten minutes, why would you suddenly change it and spawn me a million miles away?

I love this game, make no mistake, but it's capacity to annoy is unlike any other game I've ever played.

I agree the spawn system makes no sense on indar shot dead then spawn on hossin?

Make a complaint to customer services about being unable to log in as a paying customer.
