Any other weapons been added in, that one could have missed?
Not that I can think of.
There was a new pistol on the radar together with max flame thrower and grenade launcher. The latter 2 got canned due to performance impact.
There was supposed to be a balance pass / re-factor of ground vehicle weapons with a few additions to address gaps. (like long range AV for TR). None of this appeared either.
The changes to spawning have "almost" fixed redployside and as a combined arms player rather than an fps player have made the game more fun, challenging and interesting.
They did make some changes to render priority so that stuff that shoots you moves to the top of the render list and infantry AV should render more often to vehicles, but TBH it hasn't made a jot of difference. Sat in a tank I still get damaged by stuff I am unable to return fire on, most of the time with a rate of fire I am unable to respond to.
The PS4 release was last week. It released in a beta state with a few major features missing. But is making more money than expected.
Dev focus is now XBOne.
I think the biggest news was the closure of the Korean Servers and the big
**** you to Korean player base. They were given a weeks notice and told there would be zero chance of transferring and characters to non Korean servers. a lot have move to Australian / US servers but have lost all the characters / cosmetics and cash.
On the EU servers, the VET player base is shrinking. Outfits disbanding and merging in order to keep the momentum of those that still want to play.
There are lots of new players and new outfits though so still some good fights. Just not much in the way of leadership , organisation and communication.
The game is pretty stale now for anyone that played in Tech Test or Beta. Some of the games features are worse now than they were at release.
Also every patch it gets less and less shiny as they reduce texture sizes to improve performance.
