Had a quick go the other day after 2 months off, uninstalled again. Just can't handle the hit reg, it's so ****ing dodgy. I will pump 7 shots into someone and they keep on running then turn around and instagib me. I just can't bear it after getting back into Quake, the pinnacle of fps shooters.
PS2 has ran its course for me. Should sell my account! 9,000 certs, 5,000 station cash
This is why I think infantry gameplay in PS2 is the worst thing ever. It's always been crap from the beginning but even with the hitreg problems it's still bad, saying that it's still pretty bad with vehicles sometimes but least you got armour to protect you.
Yeh I remember you saying that a long time ago about disliking the infantry play and I wasn't sure what you were on about, but now I totally understand. Such a shame what happened to this game
ISK is pretty much dead now, mass exodus over the last few months for some reason like everyone got sick of it at the same time.

Yet weirdly I find the gun play a lot better in PS2 than I do in Battlefield 4. I wonder if's purely down to getting used to it?
I do think that I'm pretty accurate and get annoyed when I pump a few shots into an enemy in BF4 and he doesn't die when I know he would have in PS2.

Nah, I had 1500 hours in the game so was well used to it.
Funnily enough BF4 is now great, I've gotten back into it since the recent patch and hit reg is amazing.

Pounder max makes me kinda wet and uncomfortable <3
It's like an "I-Win" button against anything but aircraft if you aren't stupid with it/have some support. Tanks? Infantry? Other Max's? Enemy Sunderers? Cloakers? Yep... pull a pounder max and it's all suddenly ok

One of the best purchases (imo) is the silenced NS-SMG. If you purchase it with SC (700 I think) it's available for every class on every faction. It's a short to medium range weapon but in that kind of range it's pretty badass

Stopped playing this about a month ago, along with most of the rest of my outfit [VIB]. Just couldn't stand the terrible ping, hit reg and staleness of the game any longer. Plus I have racked up nearly 80 days play time across all my characters so it had to come to an end at some point.
Can't see myself properly coming back to PS2 now...

I still play it now and again. Started playing light assault (usually play just medic and engi) and quite enjoying it. I've also been soloing more lately, zerging around with 1-2 full platoons isn't fun.
I wish they would do more with this game and not just cosmetic stuff you can buy via the shop. They really shouldn't have cut out the PS 1 mechanics. Even the little things like hacking doors and what not.

Yeah. Precision attacks are more fun. Or trying to take a base 1v2 is a laugh.
