God what a mess some parts of the community have become in this game. I've just gone back to the game after having several months away, I went with my TR guy who is only rank 10 and I've been having quite a bit of fun. I used to hate playing as the MAX, but it's now my favourite class atm. I've been playing as the anti-air guy and have been quite effective at times.
Anyway from the last few nights playing the TR seem to get their ass handed to them every time, I've joined a few squads that just seemed to be full of people arguing through chat or voice comms, it all seems very disorganised. Then tonight I'm sat in one of the little spawn rooms as a MAX shooting through the windows, taking down aircraft as nobody else seemed to be taking any notice of the huge pack ESFs bombarding everyone. Some other guy then joined in doing the same thing and we started to deter them quite a bit, got quite a few kills in the process too, we kept fending off a few Galaxies trying to ferry people over the wall and were defending very well. Next thing we know we start getting team killed by a bunch of guys over and over, it's not as if they were just casual players either, they were all in the same squad and outfit, all at BR100
They started giving people crap about not doing anything to help and even followed us to other parts of the base to try and team kill, I noticed some very aggressive threats and language appearing in chat as well. The funny thing is, they killed me and a few other guys making a little AA nest and within seconds the place got invaded by a few Galaxies and a whole load of ESFs who just steamrolled their way in and slaughtered everyone
I wish I got some screenshots and took some names because I would have quite happily reported them.

Just had a few hours of game play tearing apart the NC and VS in my Flash and Prowler, even after 1+ or so months, I still got the skills. 
OK so I was played as a NC medic and was getting better after a few hours. I was getting ruined in any kind of firefight unless I was getting the first few shots in, which makes it quite difficult when the team is playing like idiots and not together, which was the case.
Played for the 1st time in ages 1+ year and it was quite smooth.
Only issue I had was players rendering at distance. They would twitch like crazy, which when sniping made it damn difficult to aim for.
It didn't happen with every player, but 1/3rd or so would be twitching even when stationary. Enjoyed it though and NC are still rubbish

It's not that the NC or any other faction are bad, it's that 99% of players are just bad and can't think.
"Oh our base is under attack, let's keep spawning there and fight them head on" while there are two other bases that you could spawn at and attack the enemy from behind.
I really think strategically theory and tactics should be taught at schools.
Just got back into the game myself and the amount of head banging moments. I just don't understand how some people play. It's as if they just hold down W and don't bother looking above them self or behind for enemies flanking them.
An example would be one of the bio-labs. As you know, it can be a right cluster **** when there is equal numbers on both sides trying to push in from the landing platforms. So what do 99% of the people on my team do? They all try to attack/rush in that one entrance, completely oblivious to anything else. Meanwhile I'm looking around thinking "The enemy could so easily flank us from above and from the sides..." so what happens? Just a handful of enemy soldiers attack from above (Droping C4) and the rest from the sides.
I managed to kill a couple before about 5 or so enemies wiped out 15 of us clean, due to the fact most people are just not aware of their surroundings. It can be incredibly frustrating when you know something is going to happen, yet are completely powerless to do anything.
I've got back into it after a month off, it's a fantastic game.

Had a quick go the other day after 2 months off, uninstalled again. Just can't handle the hit reg, it's so ****ing dodgy. I will pump 7 shots into someone and they keep on running then turn around and instagib me. I just can't bear it after getting back into Quake, the pinnacle of fps shooters.
PS2 has ran its course for me. Should sell my account! 9,000 certs, 5,000 station cash
