Can you remember your station name? I had the same problem, contacted SOE and they recovered my account to a different email address, job done
I love these comments, its as if people think this will worry anyone, or maybe the Dev's will see it and say 'wtf we losing this player, be damn whats good for the game lets release it RIGHT NOW, so he stays'
The reason beta is being held back is the game is not ready for it yet, and because Dev's have gotten to know if they release it to beta with 2 many bugs people will not see its beta but just whine that the game not working correctly, just look at the GW2 thread on here.
on another note our first PS2 recruitment video, the reason I say our first as we have 3, think the other 2 are far better, but not on our site as of yet.

Disappointing it got delayed, but it will happen. Question for me is what round will I get entry. I am a historic Planetside subscriber, but that was a long time ago. I was amazed I managed to access the account after some password trial and error.

pretty sure you will be in on the first/second wave, depends on how many PC gamer keys are not as of yet.
And let me tell its worth the wait, this game could so very well be the game of the decade.
This game has really surprised me, I definitely don't normally praise a game highly before its out as you never know, and yes there is reasons this game could still fail, i.e bad lag (so far not seen any really), Hackers, or not getting enough people on per map, tho I don't see this they say that there will be 2k per map (note this is not per fight). But even if we get around 150 in a fight its feel epic.
They do not have to get 2k (be great if they do) to make this game work, I have had some really fun battles in a groups of 15/20 fighting the same amount on both sides, so roughly 50/70 in the fight.
Its being a long time since I played a game that woops 4 hours have gone by and you did not even feel them ..
I know people will get on and bitch that the guns don't hit properly ( quite a wide cone) or this and that, yes there are things that could be different, that some will thinks better, but its a balance and as a whole the game works, the battles are epic ( yes I know I bloody keep saying epic) but they just great at times, you come over a hill and see 10/15 aircraft fighting it out tanks everywhere , and rockets being fired from every point you can see, explosions going off, tank shelling you, planes strafing you ...what more can you want ...
Can wait till the Immortals are in here and we doing combined attacks that are coordinated, tho funny enough the way we were going to set up the outfit has totally changed now that I have played the game

I am really looking forward to it. I loved the original game. Ahead of its time. The only problem I had was living with the folks at the time in an area with non existent broadband.
PS was a tad laggy on 56k
Yup just make make sure to do the following:
Change your picture from the default "egg"
Follow smedley, higby, Khrone and Tray or whatever his name is; they can't send you a direct (private) message if you're not following them.
Recovering your PS1 account via station customer service would be better. You'd get in earlier (PS1 vets > PC gamer key holders > twitter key holders).

This is exactly the type of comment why they holding back.
Not really. If the problems are the fact that 100 people can't connect when there's 500 connected to a server, adding 1,000 more people into the mix isn't going to help is it.
(Above statement was an example & not what is an existing issue before anyone starts quoting that as gospel!)
