Why would you need to be sad?
Im all killing floored out.... im taking a break from gaming till tomorrow.
Most percentage of people now have given up and not completing the challenges, and have realised that unless Valve do something really clever it will released tomorrow.
I think Valve owe us a teaser for EP3 at least!!!

It's no-one's fault that you expected it to be then. The release was always scheduled for 3pm on Tuesday.
The more gained, the more games played, the earlier the release time. Release time is currently 9am tomorrow, though it will be earlier than that, I imagine. Maybe 8am or 7am.
Everyone, be very careful about where you go on the internet today, spoilers will be everywhere. Take a leaf out of his book:

Tbh I've no sympathy for people that bought the potato pack solely on the premise that they'd get P2 early. Some peoples reactions to it seem to be "I bought it to play portal at the weekend". There was never any solid indication that a weekend release would have happened.
I'd think that almost everyone that bought potato games to actually participate in the ARG before an early release was even announced (or any reward other than potatos on their profile) have got something out of it just by playing the games.
Is it a marketing ploy to sell more games? Of course, an infant could see it. But if people spent money buying games without an intention of playing them just to unlock Portal a bit earlier, it's their own fault imo.

Just wait until Steam screws up on release and it ends up being delayed by an extra eight hours

not many gamers in here but one of the lads had pirated his copy last week for xbox, he hasnt played it yet. He got lots of abuse from me when I found out, though, ******* theif playing before me for free..Understandable..
