**Official Portal 2 thread**

*May or may not have accidently removed a light bridge in front of those 3 turrets on the last level of Course 4 in a 'no deaths' run and killed Steve*
 
Hmm, since the last update the game simply won't load. I click the icon in Steam, it has the "Preparing to launch Portal 2..." box, and then nothing happens. Doesn't appear to be anything running in my task manager, and I've restarted my PC since the update was installed and still the same.

I was so near the end as well ._.

Free dlc for the PC?, well that's all good then, such a great game, more of these sort of games should be made imho. Nice one valve.
 
All of a sudden (ie after some patch/steam download for portal), I'm no longer able to play coop with randoms. I get the "searching for friends" bit then just a "failed to create session, check connection" message. Before it asked if I wanted to search for a random partner, did they patch this out?
 
Been playing it in little bits really. There can not be many better games in terms of sheer enjoyment imo. And i haven't even played co-op yet.
Some really inventive levels, especially when you start using the gel:D.

There was one level where the was water pouring in, and i thought as i saw it "i wonder if you have to wash the gel off of the cube" and then you did! absolutely brilliant

it is refreshing to play a game nowadays where your hand is not held every step of the way too
