Well I've just finished the first one, after lots of trial and error. Unfortunately it does not let you record from another app so I have to work out the timing myself. Like I said, I'm very bored...
I'll upload the profile when I'm done
EDIT: It does, I completly forgot about the Macro Record (MR) button on the keyboard.
EDIT2: MR doesn't record the timings

Originally I was doing the timings myself, which would have taken all day. Then I remembered about the macro record function - I never use them normally so it didn't even cross my mind. There's an option to record the timings for quick macros which I had to enable. I'm currently adding a long ~5s second at the start, so all you have to do is initiate the macro as you click the "start game" or "let it roll" button. The rest is done for you.

Aha nice one, just tried executing the cfg from the console and it seems to have worked as, if i type vt_pageimagesizeuniquediffuseonly2 it says: vt_pageimagesizeuniquediffuseonly2 is "16384" ....etc

Don't bother with 16k texture pages, theres only about 2 textures in the game that see an advantage from it, the rest of the time your just duplicating data for no good reason.

I can ge to the last round nearly everytime anyway, it's just that once you fail at the last round the rush to get back means you make mistakes on route to it.
I've come very close to completing the last round, or at least I hope I have because I made an awful lot of stabs before I failed.....again.
I am a bit miffed that for some of the achievements I'll have to play through again because some areas become closed once you've finished them. And if you miss the playing cards on the way there's no way back to look again.

Talk to Abbot but don't click anything. When he puts his hand down and it becomes interactive, press enter and G1 at the exact same time. I've put in a delay so it takes the 3s countdown into consideration. When that's complete, just repeat but with G2 and subsequently G3 and G4.

Surely using a macro to skip levels 1-4 aren't going to help you get into the timing of the game much?1-4 aren't exactly hard with a bit of practice either.

No they aren't hard at all, hence why I don't see this as a cheat. I said it in my first post - I was bored and sick of the repetition. I just wanted a quick and easy way to get straight to round 5, which was the real challenge

Finally, the game is getting better for me now. BEtter enemies to face, better guns, more interesting missions. The beginning of the game sucked a bit in my opinion. I'm glad I stuck with it.

Just finished the game, it took me 25 hours to get there. I didn't take my time but I did try and get all the achievements, missed out on the mind control one, 100% completion, all the cards and five finger fillet, plus the ones relating to harder difficulty level and MP.
Yes the ending is poor, but the rest of the game was great. Graphics looked beautiful in my opinion, I really liked the art style and the fact that every enviroment was unique. What really stood out was the sound and the atmosphere it created under ground. I probably play through again on the hardest difficulty and try for the 100% completion as well.
