!!**Official RAGE Thread**!!

yes, from Run command, "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -install D:

Brilliant, thanks. Does this work with all games that are retail but require Steam?

I take it when I pop the disc in, I cancel the launcher and just type the above command? At what stage do I need to stick the CD key in? Thanks :)

Wheres good to get it from? Seems ShopTo have it for £24.

This system couldn't be called middling with a straight face. It performs worse than its spec suggests.

will I be able to install the game from disc?.

Yes, from Run command, "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -install D: ,think i'll go retail with this one.
You don't even need to do this. All i do is put the dvd in the optical drive, let it do it's thing, then it fires up the steam login window, sign in follow on screen prompts and proceed with auto installation from the disc, well that's all i have ever had to do when installing straight from the dvd/game disc.

Creative Director Tim Willits revealed that the PC version of Rage will support modding and level design right out of the box. All you need to do, says Tim, is “Pull down the console, type ‘id studio’, then press enter. Then, bam, there’s all the tools we use.”

Bad day for bill :D

Cool trailer, I love APC. Anyone else seen the Rage product placement on Breaking Bad? It's been in 2 episodes I think. In one it was on in the background, then in the next episode Jessie was playing it as an on-rails shooter and he had a gun controller he was shooting the enemies with.
