It won't be until the week leading up to release.

I'd just get retail, it'll be cheaper and with minimal downloading.

Just pre-ordered a retail copy as it was cheaper than on Steam. I realise I'll have to use Steam, which I have no issue with. However my question is will I be able to install the game from disc? Not particularly looking forward to simply typing in my CD key and downloading 25GB with my mediocre broadband

Damn that is a big install. I should really look into an external HDD and clear some space.

Tempted to get it, I just hope it runs smoothly.

Yes, from Run command, "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -install D: ,think i'll go retail with this one.
