I downloaded it this morning, already got first on shard to complete 4 quests and get 2 items :-) loving the wardrobe thing although now need to check every piece of equipment i get to see how cool it looks

I will be giving this ago soon downloading as we speak got about a hour remaining.

Seems like theres a few of you on shivermere what faction are you Guardian or Defiant.

Will be playing warlock as it was my fave class in wow as well as guild wars.

Defiant! rah!

I play in the guild Covenant

Yeah a tank or healer class would be more usefull no doubt, reading the necromancer seems more like the class i want then warlock how usefull is the necromancer healing.

They have 2 rubbish spells what heal, Necro is best with warlock for great single Target dps, stormmcaller/ele for the best aoe spec in the game. For leveling pick necro/lock and healing chloro/lock or archon

off healing isnt quite mainhealing though... also since the patch, allegedly there is no more need for offhealing...

Oh so your not limited to playing one role if i pick necromancer i am not stuck with it ?

Not at all,

You can have 3 "classes" on a characters role and you can have 5 roles, which you can swap freely between. So you can have one set of classes for Pvp, one set for PvE, one set for instances, one set for DPS, one set for heals etc etc and just swap to whichever one is needed at the time.

You have 8 different souls to choose from you pick up 3 in the starter zone and when you get level 13 you pick up quests to unlock the other ones. You have 5 roles so you can have 5 different specs.

Typing in my phone so I'm no explaining very well sorry.

9 souls if you include the pvp specialist soul :D

Per "calling", with 4 callings (rogue, cleric, mage, warrior), so in total, 36 souls (or "classes")

I'm not sure at the moment on this. It's basically a slightly modified, well, very modified World of Warcraft. In the feel, the layout and the way it looks.

Not that it's a bad thing, but part of me is thinking "well, I could actually be playing WoW instead of a WoW clone". I'm still giving it a go, rolled a Warrior, going for a Riftblade/Paladin/Void Knight general build I found online at the moment, which seems to be doing okay so far.

It's interesting, although I'm going to wait until the end of the trial before I purchase, it hasn't really sold itself to me just yet.

Well the question there would be does it have anything extra over WoW, any features that you prefer over WoW, I sometimes see people saying its WoW 2.0, then saying they should go back and play WoW. Which to me doesnt make much sense, as if its 2.0 rather than 1.0 then surely it'd be better to have 2.0? Sometimes I see people saying its WoW+rifts and again I think well surely WoW+rifts is better than just WoW ?

Kind of like having a doughnut on one table and a doughnut with a drink on another, I'd take the doughnut+drink over the doughnut as its the same but with a little extra :D

Agreed, I just like that each evening can be spent doing very different things, and to freshen things up you can always switch role and do something different in a dungeon
