Just go with what ever calling you fancy to be honest. As there are 5 roles now to swap between don't have to choose tank or healer as primary.

And yes, you can get an invite no problems. Just make a quick app on the website

I went BM/Champ/PA.

Very quick at levelling.

I also followed this guide but tweaked it a tiny bit!

I applied last night to Covenant and re-rolled on Shivermere.

Character name is Rosa, and my character is in fact female despite what the application says. ¬_¬

I'll be on later, after work. :D
 
Downloaded the trial yesterday to see what the game is like and I have to say I am not very impressed at all. Gameplay is pretty unoriginal, UI is awful, gameplay so far has been very uninspiring, there seems to be somewhat of a disconnect between player and character. Don't think I will be subbing. :(

To be fair, nobody has said its original, even in this very thread its been said multiple times that it doesnt bring anything new to the genre. I honestly cant say that I think the UI is awful, in fact I've found it to be fine. Daoc, now there was a UI which is awful, but Rifts UI? I find it pretty flexible, I can move and resize pretty much everything, seems fine to me. (except my hidden bar slots have a tendency to reappear when I log in and I have to remove them again, though thats a bug rather than a design feature)
 
Hey guys I thought I would mention that theres a website that sells lots of games/clothes/electronics etc that is selling 60day cards for this for 15 quid.. and they are on a 2 for £25 deal. So 120 days for 25 quid seems cheap. Its kinda like the pizza hut, but without the pizza :)

Cheers mate going to go for that plus the game for just £45. I enjoyed the trial weekends so seems nice and cheap for 5 months play.
 
May get a timecard due to rather not sub fully just to see what the new patch is like

if I was to say The Pizza Hut... then remove Pizza from it... you would get the site :P lol
