Lots of people playing this game still and plenty coming back all the time in anticipation of Storm Legion.

EU population will probably treble at the least for the expansion.

I honestly can't rate this game enough, Trion are hands down the best MMO developers.

I wanted to play the SL beta but Trion couldn’t transfer any of my level 50 chars to the test server because I was coin locked. I went through all my security questions with them and still they wouldn’t do it. The only way was to buy a month and then get the coin locked removed! Wasn’t prepared to do that.

you can still log in and play a character to level 20? i could anyway, could log into my account and make new character and level it to 20 :o with the trial version.

Yeah cheers mate. I did do that but wanted to try the new area's and the higher level dungeons etc with my 50's.

I didn't like the Harbringer, the Tactician and Tempest was good. I was only level 15 so not very far down/up the tree's.

I still hope this will eventually go f2p :rolleyes:
 
I'd be tempted to look into the new expansion. Rift was the one MMO I gave healing a proper bash and loved it. But I think that was more down to the group we had, never had to deal with pug tanks or healers.

Only guild I've been a part of that was short on people for dps.

Trion said from day 1, it can survive on 250k/300K subscribers. I can’t see it having more than that. It might get over that when SL launches. Good for them if they stick to a sub based model!

We had a lot of fun in the early days mate. When Harmless split up, I joined the ocuk guild again and that was a lot of fun too. :)
 
I grabbed the new expansion and I'm quite looking forward to the new area's and souls. I've played Rift on and off since release and I still haven't done a single dungeon :eek: . Think it's time to find a kin and get my stuff in gear and delete some old alts.

13th Nov is the planned date for the expansion to go live, looking forward to it now.
 
its not as active as release, they cut the servers a lot, theres like 6 servers now on EU and US, but there is a fair few people and it will go up by SL
