A real servant to the game. Leeds are certainly missing his decision making and game management. Can't begrudge him topping up his pension pot at the end of his career, but I hope he's back in the game in some form at some stage.

He isn't getting any younger so I guess he decided to ramp things down and move to a softer sport! Haha!

A great servant, not just to Leeds, but to Rugby League as a whole and true role model for players entering the sport. Rumours are that Mickey Paea may be signing for the Rhinos next season? Anyone heard these rumours? A good signing if true, was sad to see him leave Rovers. One player who will be going nowhere is Terry Campese though, signed on for another two years with the option of a third.

Hearing rumours that the Terry Campese contract extension was prompted by other clubs sniffing around him. Sad to say that Wigan were one (cash + 2 players is the rumour). I just don't know what's happening with Wigan's recruitment policy. They have ample chance to replace Blake Green and decide that they're going with the young lads. 6 games in and they're after yet another HKR player! That's a really positive message to Williams/Powell/Hampshire

To add insult to injury, Wigan are also crying out for a big prop and HKR announce Dane Tilse from Canberra - precisely what Wigan need. HKR seem to have their NRL links spot on.

Get your hands off Kelly!! That's all I will say! :p

Its annoying for fans of, shall we say, "smaller clubs" (like HKR) because as soon as we get hold of a good player, the "big clubs" come sniffing, despite Rovers paying near to full cap. What also seems to confuse me lately is that why don't the likes of Wigan, Saints and Leeds lose more of their players to the NRL??? Josh Hodgson left HKR for the NRL and I believe he will do very well, but why has nobody tempted the likes of Roby to go over to the NRL? I don't get it.#

On your last point, you are right. Some of the Super Leagues best imports have often come through Rovers one way or another, Blake Green, Cory Paterson (to a certain extent Dobson noting he played for Wigan and the Dragons for a short spell), Ben Galea, Clint Newton, Travis Burns...

Roby (as an example, not just him) = big fish in little pond. He's on good money without really testing himself. Fair play to those who give it a crack. Scott Moore was out there a season or two ago and getting a regular game at NQ Cowboys, Flanagan from Sts was a regular first teamer at Wests, Joe Burgess will be going straight into reserve grade looking at the Roosters first team wingers. They just don't get the wedge they get over here

Saints fans rightfully a bit upset at Green on receiving a 1 match ban and Eammon McManus has come out with a statement to the same effect regarding consistency in refereeing decisions.

Now what I'd like to see is consistency in the punishments for speaking freely on such issues. Hudgell got smacked with a fine, surely they are going to sock it to McManus, right? Pah! We'll see, but I know where I'd place my bet.

seems a bit lenient. for me it was a blatant shoulder charge, not an attempted tackle as he didnt try to use his arms but i may be biased. what was your take on it?

all fans would agree that consistency is lacking

as for the big game tomorrow i think the number of injuries to saints will give wigan the edge. cant wait though

roby is too small for the NRL.

Would have been two games but he put in an early guilty plea.

I'm indifferent to his comments. In general I would agree, but where was McManus' support for Neil hudgell when Meli wiped out Hall with that horrendous high tackle a season or two ago. I agree with most of what he said, but ultimately, it was just another dummy spit and should get the same punishment as hudgell. Consistency n all....

Not a great game last night but the atmosphere was awesome, especially in the last 15 mins when the points were secure!! Pressure on Radford now, most fc fans I spoke to want him out.

Decent couple of weeks for rovers notching up another win against the Giants.

Was a gutsy performance from both sides and an evenly matched contest. Very much the Brought v Campese show and Big Eorl was hard to stop with a good offload. Rovers eventually got it over the line and were deserving winners in the end.

Decent away support from the Giants, which we haven't often said for a long time, if ever.

Tough game against Cas coming up and again may be a little light on forwards again. The sooner Tilse arrives the better! Need him!

Anybody see the Souths v Bulldogs game on Good Friday? If you want controversy search on well known video sharing sites for James Graham Controversial penalty. I knew of this rule but I've never seen it applied. Ever. Loads of fallout from his reaction. There was an 8 point try earlier in the game as well. Refs got bottled leaving the pitch.

Wigan v Saints was a bit quieter, but at least Wigan won :)

Probably took too much out of them as they were then comfortably beaten on Monday by a good Salford side. Disappointed with the result, but pleased that the Drs finally getting something back. What has happened in the past after teams beat Wigan is that they get walloped in the next game. Wigan are a shadow of last year's team and they aren't quite the scalp they were.

Wasn't aware of that rule! Graham and his reaction is something quite surprising. If that sort of language (vocal and body language) was used in SL then I'd imagine he would get sin binned (like it mattered anyway!). Pretty outrageous, but you can see why he was annoyed and riled up.

Still can't quite believe Salford are in 3rd! Weird! Looks like Rangi is up for another hefty ban. Still can't quite make out what he did, even after watching it repeatedly on the SL Show, seems as though he shoulder charged Ferres leg to the side when Ferres was in the tackle??

Sam Tomkins to return to Super League because of homesickness... so Wigan got £0.5m for him being away for two seasons? He's bound to go back to them. Don't mind if he wants to skip over to play for us on the plastic turf though!

As for that tackle, I don't see much wrong with that. The refs in SL need to sort out late attacks on the kickers though. Mellor gets pounded every single time he kicks and 90% of the time they're late. Someone is going to do some serious damage to him yet the refs just leave it.

As Tony said a while back, if I remember correctly, its entirely possible that Union will come sniffing but certainly Wigan would be in the frame with Salford rumoured interested (for what its worth, I'm sure ALL clubs are interested!!).

Late tackles on the kicker have to be dealt with. It seems like open season at the moment.

I see you tweeted the rfl referees!

Nope - lots of people are using my name now :( I should have gone with Chemics or something but I've been using this one for years!

/kemik all the way.

The Dr isn't too happy with that ban! The response tomorrow will be interesting.

The best way to react to late challenges on the kicker is for 3 or 4 players to run in following the challenge to get hold of the 'tackler', bringing in players from the other team. It forces the ref to make a decision and to keep an eye out for it.

The Chase tackle didn't look too clever.
