Hi guys

Quick question. Ryzen at 3.9/3333c14. In heaven benchmark at 3440x1440, 8x AA, all maxed I have one CPU core at a solid 100%

Is that normal? At such resolution am i cpu bound? also my GPU is at 100% so I guess not?

Although the FPS is fairly high it's quite jittery

Are you running the Ryzen power profile in windows?

Completely normal, heaven is more of a GPU than CPU.

I am able to boot 3466 stable with Gskill 4266 memory. Can get 3600 but not stable enough. Might be able to get stable if I tweak some settings. Ryzen 1800x asRock Fatality Pro Gaming mobo.

3466cl14 is faster than 3600cl16.
In my experience if it's not stable on auto settings then tweaking won't help.

HCI is golden. I kept passing hours of Prime95 blend but HCI kept finding memory errors, even after 400% coverage. I'm now using this solely to tune my memory and will use small FFT in Prime to get the CPU Vcore stable.

Passed 4000% coverage last night on 4.025G and 3200Mhz CL14-14-14-34-1T Gear Down enabled so i can confirm that is 100% stable.

I would agree HCI Memtest/GSAT can catch errors which may not show up in another test. I still do say IBT AVX / x264 , etc as sometimes the other voltages may need a tweak after what passed a pure RAM test.

Example last night used The Stilt's latest posted 3333MHz C14 Fast timings, passed ~6.5hrs of HCI memtest, I knew the SOC of 1V was gonna be too low for IBT AVX custom 13312MB to pass, I had insta Q-Code 8. Increased SOC to the usual 1.05V I need to pass those stability tests with 3333MHz and all good. Here is ZIP, has AIDA64 runs > HCI > Failed IBT > 3x IBT pass, note the failed IBT CSV file properties.

Still can't get those custom timings stable!

14-14-14-28 is now stable with everything else auto. 3333 on 3600c17. Might start playing with a couple of the secondaries at a time.

Still bootlooping but putting it down to the BIOS for now :( hoping gigabyte sort it in a future update as I can't for the life of me figure out why it insists on three failed boots each time before stabilising at exactly what's in the BIOS.

Do use easytune also as x39 in BIOS sets x15 and I get 1.5ghz! Whereas x36 gives 3.6 and then easytune finishes off for 3.9. Lol.

Did a quick test on AIDA64
