Can Anyone suggest better timings this is what I have manage so far with nb soc 1.15v & dram 1.38v
Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) v5.39 - running at 2933

Been playing with overclocking a bit on a 1700 with corsair vengeance lpx 3200 ram (v5.39)

Ram doesn't like going above 2800mhz. I can get it to boot at 3200mhz but it always fails on restart. Using 1.45v and upping soc to 1.1v

CPU, boots and seems to run fine at 4.1ghz using 1.3875v but my fps's were tanking in BF1. Tried dropping the overclock and it does seem to improve but even at 3.8ghz I could swear the fps are lower than just running it at stock. Need to run some benchmarks to be sure really... Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

ps. Can everyone stop saying tosh

See My Last post but try these timing manually

No, kernal power error is when the kernal loses power and the system doesn't know why. There could be many reasons for it. Last time I had it, it was caused by a faulty PSU.

Is your psu faulty? You said you no longer have it running at stock. The logical reason for this is unstable overclocks.

No it's a good PSU. The problem only started when I upgraded the mobo. The equipment I am running now is a lower power consumption than my old build. It has been stable since running at stock. I'm not too fussed about overclocking so I will see how it goes for now.

So far so good, downloaded latest version of Win 10 and installed that, did exact same as yesterday and no BSOD yet in the first hour of installing stuff.

Edit: Had it running for over 5 hours now getting stuff installed and running a few benchmarks, after the hickup yesterday due partly to my own fault with an out of date Win 10 install everything working great and ran running happily with XMP enabled.

I've found i had better gaming performance with bank group swap disabled. The opposite is true for synthetics but give it a go.

I had those, on CH6 wouldn't boot if you disabled bank swap but leave it on Auto and boots fine... then you check and it's disabled as auto. :)

Those sticks are rated 1.35v are they not? Had 32GB working fine on mine.

From comments around here it looks like generally CH6 owners have easier life to achieve 3200 RAM even with hynix, with 32GB etc.

These 4266 sticks are rated at 1.4v for that speed. I imagine it's 1.35v for lower. I run mine at 1.4 anyway just for stability. All ddr4 can handle 1.45

Do any of you guys still cannot use manual voltage set for CPU, every time when i want to set up something higher than 1.35V, my CPU downclocks to 1.5Ghz. I just installed latest BIOS 0809 for my Strix board and the same issue persists.
