*** Official Ryzen Owners Thread ***

Currently at work so will do some screen shots tonight of CPUz, etc.

40x multi
Core VID 1.4v (HWinfo)
CPU Core Voltage 1.394v (Hwinfo)
SOC 1.1v (Hwinfo)

Everything else set at auto

DDR 1795MHz
15-16-16-38-56 1T
1.4v

Stable on multiple runs of Cinebench, some light gaming and has been at 100% on all threads all night mining CryptoNight with no crashes.

OT, any reason why CPUz shows voltage of 1.308v when Hwinfo shows the above?

On my Taichi x370, I've got two entries for CPU voltage.

One is CPU Voltage(v), and the other is CPU Vcore Voltage, anyone know the difference?

Would upgrading a fx8320 @ 4Ghz to Ryzen 1600 be a justified upgrade?

Yes, MASSIVE ^^^
----------

After a bit more tweaking.

1315 points. :D @ 3.950Ghz - 2933Mhz

Here's a question.
My 1700x system is completely stable at 3.9 and ram at 3200 (albeit with loose timing). Is there any point in upgrading to the latest BIOS ?

Its always worth trying a newer BIOS, if you don't like it you can always role back.

Upgrading just one BIOS revision newer on my ASRock Pro 4 took it from problematic trying to get the 3000Mhz LPX memory to run at 2666Mhz to running 2933Mhz with just one click XMP selecting without issue, like a mature Intel platform.

Should I disable cool n quite feature on my 1700. As I've read it can cause stuttering in some games, and dcs world is breaking my balls at the moment

Here is my effort, took me a few weeks to pluck up the courage to play with it but happy so far.
Just need to figure out how best to bump my Hynix ram to 3200.
