Thats a very decent score. I'm at the same clock speed and memory speed with lower timings and I'm nowhere near that.

Ok, something is happening here.

I just ran it again and got 1819 cb on the same settings

However on a fresh boot I get 100 points lower.

The high score of 1800+ is when the PC comes out of sleep mode.

What wizardry is this, its a fresh install of windows 10.

Oh my God!

A new BIOS for the X370 Pro!

Yay! Now just have to wait for copying to finish before I can install..

Just wish my 64Gb had come yesterday :(

Still, be interesting to see if any change with the 32Gb Corsair

Ergh... wont likely be touching that bios update today .... All that copying I had done, undone....

Somebody shoot me if I ever again consider using onboard RAID again!!!!

For someone who always has three copies of my photos and videos, I am now down to one copy because of this rubbish. Desperately watchign that progress bar until I have at least one more copy!!!

In HWinfo is vcore in CPU section closer to real voltage? or is it the one in motherboard section? CPUZ, Aida and BIOS in CH6 show exactly the same as it is in motherboard section.

So my 1700 under stress shows 1.405V in CPU section, while 1.44V in motherboard group. Also temps in motherboard group are 5C higher than CPU (Tctl/Tdie).

I finally got round to changing the cooler on my 1700 from the stock and its made quite a difference, maybe around 10 degrees. Turns out my trusty old Cooler Master Evo fit perfectly and I actually kept the spare parts for a change. Not "stressed" it, just the usual daily gaming etc, but 10d off anyways. Bonus is the stock fan was making a faint noise at speed so win win.

Have the 'kinks' of the new architecture not been ironed out yet? Gaming performance wasn't all that good last time checked compared to the 7700k. That was on released and on wccftech mind...

RGT has just released a video stating that he got massive FPS improvements in multiple games after a bios update on, I think, a MSI xpower titanium mobo. Worth a look.

For me CPU Core Voltage (SVI2 TFN) in CPU section and VCORE in mobo section for MAX value are ~0.004V difference. Comparing MAX sensor stated before with VCORE read from Pro Belt point using DMM it is ~0.024V difference, be aware that the Pro Belt point is showing VCORE with LLC for power plane.

What ROM are you using when quoting temps? do you have Sense MI Skew: [Disabled]? post a screenie of your HWiNFO data and I'll share my opinion.

Thanks, yes Sense mi skew disabled. I'll post screenshot when I come back home. It's weird that when I was testing prime95, temps were around 1.4v-1.44v under stress (small fft) but when computer starts (in Windows) or while in bios it shows around 1.5v.

LLC set to auto, offset +0.3 (1.485v). With no LLC it shouldn't be anywhere close set voltage, not to mention higher than set...but i dont know ;) temps are good so not worrying just curious
