No, doesn't look like it.

Just had a look and can just see a pending charge of £1 from when I ordered it, so assume they will take as soon as it is back in stock.

What you planning to go for with your discount ;)

Just the Sonos ARC, I can't afford the Sub as well, after recently buying the LG CX. I would also like to see how it sounds without sub first as the room its going in is only small so may not feel the need for the Sub.

I know it will limit me a little with no DTS and no hdmi in ports, but I don't purchase many discs now days, most seem to have Dolby as well now.

Cheers

Just a quick question, does anyone know what would happen if I play a bluray with DTS with the SONOS Arc

Would I get no sound at all or would it convert to stereo?

Thanks

I used to get stereo, an Xbox One can convert DTS to Dolby Digital. Sonos is working on an update to allow the Arc to accept LPCM, people are speculating that this will allow DTS to be sent as PCM.

My Sonos One all of a sudden no longer plays BBC Radio via Google voice commands. It says 'OK...' then say 'sorry I can't find that'.

Their Twitter and community threads are plastered with complaints and they've said they're looking into it, but it's always hard in this situation to understand if it's Sonos's fault, Google's fault, or the radio provider's fault.

Whoever's fault it is, for all Sonos's advantages it can be a right pain.
Might well be the BBC they have been making it harder and harder to access the radio on smart speakers!

Great so I should be able to get at least stereo from the limited amount of discs I own with DTS, that's my main concern, don't want to find i get no sound at all.

I do mostly streaming and rent the occasional disc, so its not a huge problem though.

I didn't get an email confirmation but noted the number down and yeah cannot see it under orders either.

However if I click order status and put the number in it is showing correctly with the backorder etc.

ah cheers will check the status thing.

Now I need to look into getting some plinth to raise my TV slightly. Going to get some 25mm acrylic sheeting possibly.

Mines wall mounted, but the current playbar is quite flush against the tv with have half an inch gap between them both. Says to stick the ARC 4 inches below it, so I am hoping that I can use the existing holes for cables without it being seen haha. Really don't fancy having to fill it and create another one zzZZzZzZzzzZZZzzz

Nice, would wall mount but I change things so often, recently decorated so don't want to start drilling into walls.

I checked order status and no records found, perhaps takes a while to update on the systems.

If it's anything like the Playbar, it'll sound MUCH better wall mounted.

Just ordered a Gen 1 Play 5, Play 1 & a Bridge. Going to use the Play 5 to be eligible for the 30% off then buy the Arc.
Already own a couple of Play 1's which can be the rears.
Can sell the Bridge.

Can you do that? I thought the eligibility was product specific? I.e. it'll give you 30% off a new Play 5. That's how it works for my old bridge at least.

So for the Bridge, that was a separate promotion where you can only save of their newer bridge.
I believe for the Gen1 Play 5 I can use the voucher on any 1 product, or set.

Just debating if the Arc will give me anything special over a Beam, all media is played through either a PS4 or a 4k Firestick.

Looking at getting a couple of Sonos Ones to replace our two 2nd-gen Echos.

I want two things - 1) better sound quality for music and 2) ability to control my Chromecast using my voice (e.g. hey google, play Narcos on Lounge TV).

Can anyone confirm whether 2) works? All I can read on the net says that Sonos devices cannot control Chromecasts, which strikes me as dreadfully silly

EDIT: Grabbed a couple of LG WK7s since they were cheap, and they seem to fully support Chromecasts.
