Here's 3 pictures. It actually runs great, I just had to turn down resolution scaling a bit. None of the other settings seemed to change FPS much but res scaling hammers it. These run great though. Will definately take some time to learn but seems a LOT easier than Arma and very fun to play. There were proper teams and people talking to each other (in french in the one i joined, but still)
Looks like it could be my new BF2, but less arcadey

Turn AA off completely. It's currently broken in UE4. 4096 shadow resolution is pretty much is overkill and can be turned down a notch. I hate playing with anything under 100% res scale as it really ruins the look of the game. I normally play on 125% but we have a strange issue currently where some maps have their own resolution scale set higher than others.
The big killer is shadows. I normally drop those down to medium/high.
On the training map I was playing with settings and shadows didnt seem to make a bit of difference
I moved the game from D:\ (default steam media library) to my SSD (G drive) then run the above command to create a virtual shortcut so steam things its running from D, even though its not. When yuo want to move it back, just delete the shortcut and move the game folder back

settings > downloads > steam library folders > add library folder. I have my main games on a ssd and the rest on a mechanical raid0
