***Official Squad Thread***

I'll definitely fire it up this weekend then, saves me the hassle of sourcing an old BF2 copy! Just hope it runs alright on my laptop as it's been pretty heavily modified since original game.
 
Not sure how they've managed convince EA to let them do this but there you go! The devs said they've not released all the details on how this will work so will certainly be interesting to see how it goes.

As for Squad...prepare yourselves! It's going to kick off very soon!

If anyone wants a non biased impression of the game then TheRaider is not one these commercial youtubers like FrankieonPC. I've not heard of the other guys so will watch what they have to say and HOPE aren't sell outs like most Youtubers.

Edit - I've heard of Bludrake also. He's an avid Arma player iirc.

It's not a vote or anything. They will hopefully all be Streaming.

Bluedrake is (I think) the biggest PR streamer too.

Only one I will be watching will be SgtRoss. He's Squads other military advisor and plays a good squad leader.
 
I recognise sacriel, seen him stream beta on games before. Think he has a fairly big channel, summit is awol so guess not on him but he has a world class aim and style to his play so interested in how (if) he'd play
I'll watch sgtross though, I remember the British Army had a PR server which must be a fairly unique event I think
 
I had to mention gore, suppression, scale, currency but nice seeing most of mine and everyone's questions getting answered. :)

Whilst Melbo was playing and missed some questions I linked to Squad's Twitter, facebook, Website, Steam Page and Youtube channel for latest news and updates. The veteran and other viewers who wanted to buy the game I linked to the image above showing the tiers.

Gameplay wise it's still very much WIP but you could see the possibilities with the game. Maybe it's the way Raider plays but it wasn't as boring as I thought it would be.

All the best for the KS campaign tomorrow, I hope it goes well for the PR team.
 
The way he played with those OP ladders was amusing.

Even up to his very last kill, he flanked around the back of the compound, stuck his ladder up and shot the enemy in the back. :p
 
Oh yes, make no mistake that this is well and truly in pre-alpha. It's all coming together nicely though. Tonight's build was rather old actually so there's quite a bit of things you've not yet seen.

Thanks majnu, tomorrow will reveal quite a few new things!

Ladders are insanely OP at the minute but as with everything, it's all still heavily WIP!
