I can't shake the thought though that everything they're churning out is such good quality that there will only be 1 of everything special in the game.
 
That Javelin is unreal....imagine being the captain of that beast, in a huge battle with your org fighter craft, flying round trying to defend it....almost feels like it isn't possible, yet its happening in front of our eyes.
 
But but they are stealing our money!

Did I hear correctly that they are bringing the unmelt option in this week if possible? I really want one of my old packages back.

Now they have all the ground work in place such as streamlining ships, 64bit etc... things will be produced much quicker.
 
I'm a game programmer, and I'm blown away by those videos, regardless of what monster rig it's running on. Given how bad my experiences trying the earlier modules were, I'm now much, much more convinced that RSI are going to deliver something special.

Might have to dl the PTU and take my Constellation for a spin :cool:
 
Does anyone know when the Vanguards variants are going back on sale? After playing a fair bit of 2.0, I've realised that a Tali (or any large multicrew ship) is not for me.....ill be happy to board one and man stations in one with my org, but owning and piloting one myself isn't great fun...much prefer faster fighter craft, so want to melt the old Tali and get a Vangaurd Warden. :)

Yeah, the tool is basically done, they are just doing final testing so if its not out before christmas it should at least be just after

there is a sale 26-28th of this month with basically everything available (silly me didn't know they had a discounted Euros exchange rate in place so I've been paying full USD price DOH!)

Exactly the same, even though i'm in an org. I still cant see me wanting to pilot the big ships.

All ships go back on sale Christmas day and Boxing Day i think.

I had a game the other day, where I spawned my Tali and a few randoms got in it and manned the turrets.....jumped to the Comms Array and just sat there while they fired off the turrets trying to hit the pirates....got a bit boring, even more so that missles are bugged at the moment and they just go haywire.

The Vangaurd Warden looks right up my street....love gunship style fighter craft...and a deep space fighter! oh yes

Xmas day swap then :)
 
Agreed, I usually blast around in my Tali but gave my Gladius a go. Decided go on a killing mission and took out a Connie that did quite a bit of damage to me, 300i and had a great fire fight with another i cant remember.

After killing the 300i, I EVA'd out to have a close look and the damage model was insane, the whole cockpit has destroyed.
 
First death was to an org mate, floating helplessly in space.. he "help me out" Cheers Worzel.. lol

Awesome fun, can see many daft moments to come whilst "testing" :D
