Thanks for trying at least. Hope someone has some luck. I tried emailing them and asking for a 7 day trial but they said only players can refer. You would think they would want people to try the game for possible subscriptions.
 
touching on a few peeps points about the game, "is it all that bad, should i give it a go etc"

I really like the game, play it every day i can, PVP WZ have become a nightmare due to server pops but tuesday should sort that one out, yes it could/should have had some feautes like group finder & server transfers etc when it came out but playing two toons to 50 i have not missed it upto now, but do look forward to it landing with 1.3, also means i can start PVE to add to my PVP fix.

The last few days i have been getting my toons ready for transfer, hitting the crew skills like crazy, have a bucket load of matts ready to make stuff and get on the GTN (the amount of purple aug's i have ready to go is crazy), with some matt's ready for 1.3 and the aug slots. Both the toons holds are near full and whilst crew skills are just a very basic part of the game i'm loving it, when you crit one it's like a little xmas present.

Reading the megathread on the official forums it "seems" Lord Calypho is neither a destination server or allowed to transfer players from it, leaving it in limbo.

"RP" prefix means "Royally Pwned" now.
 
As frustrating as it is, this is a very good way of doing things. Bioware are 100% in control of server populations so it wont be a case of everyone jumping to Fatman because they know it's busy.

Give it a week or so and this should be sorted - hopefully. I'm a sad panda but a understanding panda too

Very good way of doing things they completely cocked up before?

It's overdue since, oh. december and them having control of what ultimately is your fun, not everyone elses, is what it comes down to.

So if you're still stuck on a lousy server well, tough titties.
This will no doubt create more disdain between the players and the people at the reigns.

Might be a good time for you to take a break from the game, you seem a little angry.

Keep in mind that we're going to be updating this list with eligible servers on a regular basis. This just represents the first group of eligible servers. We're monitoring how well the service is currently handling the load and I'll have a more solid update for you folks later today, but you can take "regularly" to mean that it won't be a week or a month for the next update.

You misread, I'm not angry nor do I play, I was pointing out some obvious issues. New servers for new players or new servers anyone can transfer to? .

It is critical you understand the differences.

Well I read the releases from Bioware and it's clearly stated multiple times that this is a gradual process and not all servers will be included from the start.

Why would I be angry about something happening exactly as they explained it?

People are angry because they didn't read the posts properly and because they have an over inflated sense of entitlement :)

The fact you think people are angry at all on this forums current discussion, let alone thinking it's about the server transfers at all instead of everything that has happened before it from release, make me think you're just not understanding at all of the issues some of us had or still have with the game.

In short, we are skeptical and assume since they can't really do much without ballsing it up, they will do the same with transfers.

Just because they said something doesn't mean it's going to work.
