Not always, and depends on the Ranged - Slingers require cover and some cast time so would drop DPS if keep switching - healers only really need to focus on tank healing so can take the odd gap in between heals - not sure you would want to lose the DPS?
 
Whats a good place to start with PvE content, I have a jedi guardian with full battlemaster warleader gear, was going to have a go at using the group finder to start some flashpoints.

Also will PvP gear be sufficient for the first level of flashpoints or do i need to grab myself some PvE gear?
 
PVP gear will be fine for the first tier of content. Just sign up for the hard mode flashpoints although you'll probably struggle with Kaon and Lost island in that gear.

Eternity vault should be fine too though :)

I'm also Kellian Jarro, I've not moved yet but TOR status suggests The Red Eclipse is quite busy in comparison so I think I'll be moving shortly.

Only back for the 7 days so what's the harm!

Same here, just back for the 7 days to see how it's changed. I could never get anyone to do flashpoints with before so I'll see what that's like now. Spending tomorrow doing the 24 hr on Secret World and then will be playing this over the weekend as the wife's away! Happy days :)
 
As I am not eligible for the 7 day return I was wondering how this game is these days. Has it improved or changed much from launch? Tempted to give it another go especially if improvements have been made.

It's great... but hey that's my opinion I thought it has been all along - however if you have the ability to play again for FREE - why not just try for yourself ;)

I did want to carry on with my BH for the 7 days but can't as I didn't continue after my first month. Can you play for free up to level 15 even if you already have an account?
 
Any reccomendations for the next class?

Was thinking Jedi knight but I'm guessing I'll be doing a lot of the same missions. Generally one that works well in pvp too, my shadow is beyond useless.

Go a non Jedi Route - the Commando/Merc or Gunslinger/Sniper are fantastic DPS'ers - Commando probably a bit easier as you don't rely on cover and in Heavy armor - the class missions are obviously less "jedi" like - maybe roll the imp side to spice up the planet missions also as another republic means all the same planetary stuff.
