Folks Ive just been questing and took part in any "group" events such as the one in the youtube clip above, is that an operation or a flashpoint? (What are the differences?)
Also is it easy to group up with other for such events, or am I better off joining a guild etc? (Speaking of which does OCUk have one?)

The video above was from Explosive Conflict which is an Operation and that was Nightmare Difficulty - currently the hardest PvE instance in the game :)

Flashpoints = 4 People at level 50 you get "Hard Mode" versions of them - kind of like dungeons from other MMO's from what I am told (I've only done end game content in SWTOR).

Operations = 8/16 people Level 50 only, there are currently 4 Operations

Eternity Vault - SM/HM/NiM
Karaggas Palace - SM/HM/NiM
Explosive Conflict - SM/HM/NiM
Terror From Beyond - SM/HM

You can pug group the Stories on most of them and HM of EV/KP - but EC HM/TFB HM is normally guilds only as harder stuff and need to know the fights - Story Mode is designed for just experiencing the story and generally very easy

/1 Chat on the fleet often people looking for SM Groups - though bare in mind a lot only do the first 2 bosses as thats the weekly mission; EV/KP are on the Group Finder though and require the whole thing to be completed.

There are gear requirements for EC/TFB SM of Full Columi or above, but for EV/KP you can easily use the free recruit/tionese gear you get at 50.
 
I'd say so, but I've been a fan since day one - it it a theme park MMO and the voice acting after 1 playthrough becomes stale other then class specific stories - but as a first play to 50 it is superb.

This weekend (and the following 2 I believe) are all Double XP also on the run up to the expansion Rise of The Hutt Cartel due in the spring time :)

As for Servers go with The Red Eclipse (PvE) - despite being a PvE server it's a) more popular then the PvP server Tomb of Freedom Nadd and according to everything I read (and that my guild are very PvP intense) has more of a PvP scene also :)

Sage is my main and I love her XD - have a sorcerer also some of the animations are better on the Sorc; but overall I prefer Rep Side

I've done all 8 stories, honestly the best story is the Agent, but the Sith Warrior was also one of the best imo - and the Inquisitor was pretty sweet; the worse story imo was Bounty Hunter, I struggled with that one.

If I had to choose over Warrior/Inquisitor I'd go Warrior; so if you want a sith story go for that, if you want the best story go for Agent :)
 
If you're on Tomb of Freedon Nadd and you need help, message Wescar. I'm a level 27 Sith Juggernaut, just on Balmorra getting commendations for gear before i go to Nar Shaddaa.

What graphics settings do people use? I appear to have everything in the game on 'max', but it's still a bit rough looking. Are there any tweaks/packs to improve the graphics?
