Ahhh, I get what you mean on somethings.
So atm I've got for example Noble Jedi boots, and Sevant gloves; so what your saying is there are full five piece outfits for Sevant, hat, gloves etc. That's a good idea, I'll give the market a search.
Tbh I don't know what you mean about colour matching? I've read few times about "orange gear", not sure what it all means.
Thnx again too, gonna get searching done for some matching gear and I'll also try and get my social lvl up to try some of those outfits too.
Is colour match a preference option or do I need to buy, find, use or something other to have it set?
Sorry, in work today so can't launch game and find out for myself. Got lots of free time so i'm using it productively
Thank too.
Colour match is a little chestpiece like icon in the bottom right of the character panel, then you can either match all of your armour's colours to those of your currently equipped chest piece, or toggle colour match on for individual pieces of armour by clicking on the little boxes next to each piece in the panel. Sometimes it doesn't change much, but overall it works quite well in getting a coherant appearance from random gear and is always worth trying.
It should be noted that not all orange gear is from a set (and these sets don't have bonuses), for example I think that Noble Jedi item you mentioned may be a quest reward so might not have a whole orange set to go with it but maybe thats a colour match candidate for you.
My advice would be try colour match with the gear you have first, and then go to the GTN. Filter it to light armor, custom (orange) quality, preview some of the items on yourself (ctrl+left click) and when you find something you like the look of search for the first part of it's name. e.g. Consular's Vestments, there is also Consular's Lower Robe and Consular's Headgear to go with it, or Force Magister's Robe, Boots, Legwraps, Bracers, Handwraps etc.
As McDaniel said orange gear has slots which you access by ctrl + right clicking the piece of armor. Into these slots you put armoring mods, mods, enhancements and in certain gear augments too. These mods will have the stats, the orange item itself is just an appearance, so you can keep changing the mods in the item and keep the same look if you want to.
