Orange Gear means you can customise the mods/augments etc so you could level 1-50 looking the same.

colour match is where you can link colours to take away the clown effect from different gear sets.

Is colour match a preference option or do I need to buy, find, use or something other to have it set?

Sorry, in work today so can't launch game and find out for myself. Got lots of free time so i'm using it productively ;-)

Thank too.

Ahhh, I get what you mean on somethings.

So atm I've got for example Noble Jedi boots, and Sevant gloves; so what your saying is there are full five piece outfits for Sevant, hat, gloves etc. That's a good idea, I'll give the market a search.

Tbh I don't know what you mean about colour matching? I've read few times about "orange gear", not sure what it all means.

Thnx again too, gonna get searching done for some matching gear and I'll also try and get my social lvl up to try some of those outfits too.

Colour match is a little chestpiece like icon in the bottom right of the character panel, then you can either match all of your armour's colours to those of your currently equipped chest piece, or toggle colour match on for individual pieces of armour by clicking on the little boxes next to each piece in the panel. Sometimes it doesn't change much, but overall it works quite well in getting a coherant appearance from random gear and is always worth trying.

It should be noted that not all orange gear is from a set (and these sets don't have bonuses), for example I think that Noble Jedi item you mentioned may be a quest reward so might not have a whole orange set to go with it but maybe thats a colour match candidate for you.

My advice would be try colour match with the gear you have first, and then go to the GTN. Filter it to light armor, custom (orange) quality, preview some of the items on yourself (ctrl+left click) and when you find something you like the look of search for the first part of it's name. e.g. Consular's Vestments, there is also Consular's Lower Robe and Consular's Headgear to go with it, or Force Magister's Robe, Boots, Legwraps, Bracers, Handwraps etc.

As McDaniel said orange gear has slots which you access by ctrl + right clicking the piece of armor. Into these slots you put armoring mods, mods, enhancements and in certain gear augments too. These mods will have the stats, the orange item itself is just an appearance, so you can keep changing the mods in the item and keep the same look if you want to.

1.3 million subs is still a lot of players. The real figure will show in a couple months time when the 6 month subs start running out. Mine runs out in July but I have the free 30 days tagged on too but I've not logged in for a week and am back playing LOTRO.

Nothing about the game makes me want to log in and play which is a shame

Another 400k lost so early is a bit of a blow. There was just something about this game that didn't grab me. Prior to release I was really looking forward to it, but for whatever reason it just never clicked for me.

Thats the same for me too. My subs run out in Jul, and I won't be renewing.

Also the same for me. I just couldn't settle into TOR. Something never seemed right. I could never figure out what, tho.

I used a 2 month time card I had a few weeks back, and I've been levelling a shadow on Frostclaw (which is actually the most fun I've had since my agent). It's depressing to see the numbers on planets while levelling though, it regularly dips into single figures. Fleet can be between 50-100 in the evenings, but there's sod all going on :(

rep side is definately quieter than imp but still plenty going on - I guess it depends on the level you're at.

Plenty of PvP in the 50 bracket, done a ton of it over the weekend again. Finally got a group in guild wanting to do more organised PvP so had the tank, healer 2 dps "premade" running a lot yesterday evening. Think we won 6 out of 7 which was good fun. Made a change from being owened by Drop it like its Hoth or Kill HIM not ME! (both very good Imp guilds with great PvP'ers - damn them!)

Are Kill HIM not ME newer, never seen them before? Drop it like it's Hoth have been around since day one; friend of mine is a Sniper in their guild; my Guild merged with one of the other big PvE guilds on Rep Side (Halcyon Affinity) so we have a pretty good raid setup now, I will get to try the new Op tonight after my trip, looking forward to it.

:D

They've changed the PvP quest again today, it's now 6 games played rather than 3 games won.
A win counts as two games played.

Quality of life change for the people that keep getting stomped by premades.

PvP quest change is handy (and really should have been in the patch notes) but by not having to win they sort of encourage people to not really try during games.
Makes it a bit to easy to get a couple medals to ensure you get rewards then just afk/float around until the match ends.

Yay - I will do PvP Dailies again!

For me it encourages me to play as not so annoying If I lose, I get bored floating so will be looking to try, just not concerned/raged if I lose now :)
