** Official** Starfield - Mods and Tweaks

I've found a few more really good ones earlier today when trying to setup the Neutral LUT Colour one from NexusMods, they work flawlessly. Simple case of copy & pasting nothing really more needs to be done as im guessing we've all got the StarfieldCustom.ini setup and working by now.

The Puredark DLSS3.5 with FG preset modes if anyone is wondering what each preset does:

Preset A: Intended for Performance/Balanced/Quality modes. An older variant best suited to combat ghosting for elements with missing inputs, such as motion vectors.
Preset B: Intended for Ultra Performance mode. Similar to Preset A but for Ultra Performance mode.
Preset C: Intended for Performance/Balanced/Quality modes. Generally favors current frame information; well suited for fast-paced game content.
Preset D: Default preset for Performance/Balanced/Quality modes; generally favors image stability.
Preset E: A development model that is not currently used.
Preset F: Default preset for Ultra Performance and DLAA modes.

I do find it odd that the usual suspects are complaining that FSR is not as "stable for IQ" as DLSS. They then go all gooey and moist over the fact a Frame Gen DLSS mod is released that... checks notes "causes IQ issues", such as ghosting on the crosshairs.

I'm not dissing the mod itself. It's more the hypocrisy of DLSS being better because "stability". I have been back and forth between the 2.5 DLSS mod and FSR and you have to pixel peep at 4K quality (75% scaling) to see any differences and it's win some lose some but overall almost identical. The one area DLSS won easily was the ticker tape on the security hut near the space dock. In FSR it is blurred while standing still but fine when you move. If you are using lower than 4K DLSS might be better but I haven't tested it.

He should've left it in beta and not stopped refining it....

I tried to install the wide-screen fix and the intro remover mods but they didn't install for some reason.

Are you all installing manually or using Mod Organizer?
The manual method here with anything off nexus. Are you putting the mod files in the correct folder under my documents > My games etc?

I mean IQ stability. I can't speak for lower resolutions as I play at 4k with 75% - 80% scaling. One of these is DLSS and the other FSR at 4K with 75% scaling qualty and no sharpening. I have deliberately not labelled either, so it is a blind test.
