yea but obertan isnt as young as ronaldo was, hasnt shown half the skill, trickery, or directness of ronaldo. ronaldo looked like an amazing prospect with his quick feet and willingness to run forward. obertan has shown nothing or at least very little of anything remotely similar.

I've seen Anderson in various MF positions and I don't think he knows what his best position is.

I can count on one hand the amount of decent games he's had. My point being that you find it ok to give someone who doesn't seem to be progressing time but on the other hand want Obertan sent on his way because he isn't improving :confused:

Don't get me wrong, I would love Anderson to come good but he's just not progressing how he should do!
 
I think people don't quite realise is that even the best managers have to employ the old "chucking **** at the fan" tactic when it comes to finding good players. You can watch a guy in his F-Liga Crapido team all day and not really get a sense of how well he'll adapt to a higher level of play with you. In the end you just have to take the risk and gamble. Being a good manager isn't neccesarily about spotting the good players in the first place, it's about realising whether they'll actually make it in your squad when the times comes.

Ferguson is bloody god at this. If he wasn't, you wouldn't be continuing to win things.

I haven't got the time to pick that apart but if you are a Liverpool fan I think you should be able to get the gist of what I'm saying, even with your blinkers on.

They only have two seasons though to spend big then its a whole different story with the new rule change. Not sure how these big wages would effect this new rule? Because lets face it, players are only going to go there for the money, they arent even in the CL.
 
I see Fabregas has started for Spain then.

Not the Iniesta/Xavi/Alonso combination that some ****head said would be the line up.

Fabregas isnt playing yet...Busquets started along with Xavi and Iniesta in the midfield.
