They have had the bonus of playing in an accomplished team for years, whereas Fabregas hasn't.

Meany.

Btw, how long you been in Belfast?
All of a couple of months. Got myself a new/proper job.

He's a bloody Gypsy that bloke, I'm unsure whether Belfast is a step forward or backwards from Hull though.
Well I've pretty much given up any hope of seeing any live football again, since I'm not sure I fancy the idea of watching "Premiership" games alongside thirty people near a field. I think I'm going to have to end up watching that silly game they have with the sticks to pass the time. :(

In what world is he a better player than Xavi or Iniesta?
*Dons DM hat*:

2009/10 stats:

Xavi: 31 games - 3 goals, 14 assists
Iniesta: 20 games - 1 goal, 5 assists
Fabregas: 26 games - 15 goals, 13 assists

Playing in an Arsenal team that struggled in the league, failed to get beyond the quarters in the CL, and play in a less goal-happy league, versus a Barcelona team that rolled over their sub-SPL joke of a division, got to the final of the CL, and generally scored for fun.

Maybe that world?

EDIT: Wait no, let me guess. "Uff uff uff no Messi uff uff main creative outlet uff uff more important player for Arsenal"?

Yeah, he's more important to us because he's better. Innit.

If any real football fan got the pleasure of seeing Fabregas play 40-50 times a season they'd love him too

Those stats are more interesting due to the fact that Barca got 99 points and steamrolled every team in the league nearly, surprised Xavi chips in with so few assists/goals

Well in the Euro 2008 it's already been stated here that he virtually changed every game and he outscored and out assisted Xavi and Iniesta combined with less time on the pitch, does that not make him better than both of them during that tournament?

According to ESPN Soccernet, these are international games and league games combined of the season just gone, Fabregas has just had a season with 23 goals and 19 assists. Xavi has had a season of 6 goals and 19 assists, and Iniesta has had 1 goal and 7 assists, so who is best of those three I ask?

Stewart, maybe you should look at the stats before assuming ZOMFG HE PLAYS FOR BARCA THEREFORE MUST BE BETTER THAN AN ARSENAL PLAYER 111one!!1
