Also DM I can't comprehend why you still support Arsenal or even go out of your way to have anything to do with them, it sounds like you don't like so much about the club it baffles me why you still support them. Nobody would begrudge you switching allegiances to somebody more in your line of thoughts, maybe you'd enjoy football again??

My thoughts exactly. He's probably the worst supporter in the world, he only goes to matches to shout at everyone bar Eboue.

Nah I love DM.

It's cheap comedy.

Every so often he talks some sense, just normally not about Arsenal :p

Nothing new about it...looks the same as previous yrs:p.

Personally it didnt bother me to see him in a Barca shirt, i actually laughed...like someone said they were celebrating so things were a bit crazy and its no secret that Fabregas wants to go back to Barca at some point but Arsenal fans that are getting all upset...seriously???...i bet Wenger even had a little laugh at it...Fabregas isnt going anywhere until Wenger says so and because hes had a decent WC with a few appearances...Arsenal can now say to Barca pay up or STFU.

Personally I think it was an absolutely tasteless joke and one that didn't need to be made. What if someone forced a Real Madrid shirt onto a Barca player? I'm sure it would be completely different then. I'm not going to bang on and on about it because it's already happened but the Barcelona players are a bunch of dirty, classless ****s.

Man Utd fans went mental at Real a few years back, it's just a natural response when your best player is being tapped up, what kind of fans would be happy with it!? Of course the blow has been softened as we all know he'll end up there

As for the Barca shirt thing, just another non-story, I'm sure the Barcelona directors are face palming for making the deal that bit harder, especially Rossell who seems intent on stopping all the publicity and doing it behind closed doors

Oh I'm sorry, you can't say anything against Barcelona, the darlings of European football and a great example to us all...

LOL why you getting all worked up for??..so what if they ambushed him and put a Barca shirt on him~...he took it off soon as he realised, it would have been completely different if he had kept the shirt on so at least hes shown his loyalty to Arsenal by doing that...i found it hilarious that Barca are resorting to those tactics now...well not Barca as a whole but Pique and Puyol.

Its all good...its just a bit of banter and no need to get so worked up over it...Fabregas aint going nowhere this season.

He's not leaving this season. Fabregas is an intelligent person so you cannot compare him and this situation to the Ronaldo transfer of last year. Spaniards in general are very passionate and patriotic so even as an Arsenal fan, I can laugh that one off. It was just a moment of craziness.

I'm not getting worked up at all, I can express displeasure at something without being branded, I'm just sick of the same people on these boards constantly tongue-ing the Barca ass. It gets a bit tiresome after a while.

Can't say I've noticed it IMO. With regard to Fabregas, I think it'll end up the same as Ronaldo, he'll definitely go - it's just when he does. Barca will probably say they are only spending £x, and Arsenal will want more, and probably have to accept less next season. Or they'll agree the deal for next season.

They are pretty good at football though

Yes, of course but their business practices are far from ethical. I hate the fact that they think because they are Barcelona they can do whatever they want, whenever they want and other teams are simply expected to bow down to their demands. It's a total joke.

Arsenal fans can be pleased he took the top off afterwards ;)

Barca clearly want him, his friends play there and want him to join, can't blame them for doing silly things like this. No need to get worked up.

He's still an Arsenal player last time I checked, and doesn't look too likely to move this season.

I said right from the emergence of the story that he wouldn't move, I'm not even worried about that, just annoyed at the fact that Barcelona think they have some exclusive right to do whatever they feel. How many times far their players butted their stupid faces into this saga, it's nothing to do with them, they don't negotiate the deals, when was the last time that Arsenal shamefully tapped up a player like this?

Chamakh joined us and mentioned something about wanting Gourcuff to come and play for us, that was quickly nailed on the head and no comments from any Arsenal player cropped up since. Whereas Barca seem to think its okay to have every man and his dog yapping on about Barca DNA and whatever other nonsense. The way Barcelona are going about Fabregas has been nothing short of appalling and the same happened with Henry, Hleb and Overmars, they just seem to think they can say and do whatever they like with no repercussions whatsoever.

We don't need to accept anything at all. He's contracted for 5 years with us still and we aren't exactly a poor team that needs to sell a £60,000,000 player for half price.

Really?? i dont think there are many other teams out there that practice ethical business...if a team wants a player then they will do their best to get that player ie Real were after Ronaldo for a good couple of yrs before Utd sold him...so lets not blame Barca only as that would be foolish.

As for bowing down to their demands??...give Arsenal credit they havent bowed down to anyone least of all Barca...if they had then Fabregas would have gone for £30mill. Arsenal have stood firm in their valuation of Fabregas and until Barca pay up then nothing is happening ie Fabregas isnt going anywhere..but Arsenal are resigned to the fact that he will go at some point probably next season most likely unless we win the treble or quadruple.
