I'd love to sign Ireland AND Bellamy, but we couldn't afford them both. I'd choose Bellamy first, and then look at someone else for our midfield troubles. Zamora/Bellamy and Johnson/Bellamy would be an awesome set up (if AJ is ever fit).

Definitely, he was one of the best players in the City team (if not the), and the league last season.

Players like Ireland need to be given a run of games. Confidence is a big part of his game.

???....What didnt he do is the answer....Showed commitment,tracked back,tackled great (most of the time),put in 110% every game and Ireland hasnt shown any of that for 2yrs nearly in 2008 he was flying all over the pitch but now a big contract has changed him completely.

Ireland was awesome when Hughes was in charge, since then they don't play him. Not sure why, when he plays he is very good - and still only 23 or whatever it is. If City sell, or carry on not playing - quite silly imo.
