Sadly, the chances of either of our teams getting near the top 4 seem to be getting slimmer as they years go on. You had it once, we had our chance and blew it, and then City spent £m's on everyone decent and Spurs nicked it once. Can't see us getting close again.

I have a bet with my mate, if Beckford scores 5 goals or more I have to buy a personalised Birmingham shirt, if he scores 5 or less (the bet I offered) he has to buy a Liverpool shirt, and he's an Everton fan :D
 
West Ham were trying to sign him too, so I think, if anything, it came down to Keane's choice. I can't see Celtic outbidding Villa and West Ham.


That's if it even happens... There's been a lot of guff today.

I'm almost certain we won't sign him, not without a permanent manager in place. Saying that, even with a permanent manager they'd still fanny around and not end up signing him. I just want us to get a striker that'll nudge Peskey closer to the door. :(
 
I'm dubious the entire thing wasn't a fabrication in totality. Did we actually have video evidence of Harry talking about it?
