Scott Parker Signs new 5 year deal.

Great news for the club

Top player Scott and West Ham will be needing his class and experience once again this season. Comes across as a really decent bloke too.

Now go and score the winner on Saturday!

"One man set to watch Rooney from the stands is former team-mate Francis Jeffers. Jeffers made his England debut at the same time as Rooney - scoring in a 2-1 defeat by Australia in February 2003 - but the former Everton and Arsenal striker is now without a club and considering a move to the Australian A League."

Fox in the box.

Hahahahah.....

Big Spenders irk Neville

Think this is a bit rich when his beloved Manyoo have broken the British transfer record more than any other club in the past 15 years

1995 Andy Cole Newcastle United-Manchester United £7,000,000
1995 Dennis Bergkamp Internazionale-Arsenal £7,500,000
1995 Stan Collymore Nottingham Forest-Liverpool £8,500,000
1996 Alan Shearer Blackburn Rovers-Newcastle United £15,000,000
1999 Nicolas Anelka England Arsenal-Real Madrid £22,500,000
2001 Juan Sebastián Verón-Manchester United £28,100,000
2002 Rio Ferdinand Leeds United-Manchester United £29,100,000
2006 Andriy Shevchenko Milan-Chelsea £30,800,000
2008 Robinho Real Madrid-Manchester City £32,500,000
2009 Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United-Real Madrid £80,000,000

Their top 10 list of transfers isnt too shabby either!

1 Dimitar Berbatov £30.75 million
2 Rio Ferdinand £29.1 million
3 Juan Sebastián Verón £28.1 million
4 Wayne Rooney £27 million
5 Ruud van Nistelrooy £19 million
6 Anderson Porto £17.3 million
7 Owen Hargreaves £17 million
8 Antonio Valencia £16 million
9 Nani £14.7million
10 Michael Carrick £14 million

Burke! :p

Neville's just 'jealous' that Real/Barca/Chelsea/City are 'doing' (or perhaps not in a sense) to UTD what they themselves did over the years. That's how football is. Move on..

Defoe out for 3 months.

Up steps the shouty, pointy bloke.
Maybe ol' twitchy will be forced to play a formation that a lot of Spurs fans want to see with a 4-5-1. We have lots of attacking threat from midfield with Bale, Lennon, VdV, Kranjcar, Huddlestone and Modric.

---------------Gomes----------------
Charlie-----King-----Bassong-----Benny
Lennon----Hudd-----Modric-------Bale
----------------VdV------------------
---------Crouch/Pav/Keane------------

I thought Neville HAS to be on a wind-up, then I remembered Ferguson moaning about a similar thing recently, that's a seriously staggering lack of self-awareness. Over the Premiership era they are the quintessential 'big spenders'. What a ridiculous idiot. Haven't they spent like £30m this summer alone? Is he retarded?

Could work well, but I really don't have faith in Crouch or Pav, and Keane needs to prove he can still perform at the top level.

Gary Neville has taken a swipe at clubs who try to buy success and claims they will struggle to earn respect.

Has anyone ever had any respect for that snivelling can't-grow-a-tache little ****?

Yippee, Vermaelen is injured aswell now and will miss the next game at the very least, an achilles injury, which tend not to be a few days but tend to be longer.

So our new man, who was due 90minutes in the reserves is going to start alongside Kos.

Its not really a game I'd want to try a new CB partnership, nor a game to start in the league on, against a team whose biggest threat is likely set pieces, meh.

How could Wenger have foreseen this though, 6-7 years of getting caught short on CB's, or the fact everyone in the world said all summer Arsenal needed at MINIMUM to replace what we lost in numbers, oh well.

Lets just pray Kos and the new guy turn out to be very good, because if we don't have enough CB's and they suck, we're screwed. Kos looks half decent but has made at least one pretty big mistake in every game and doesn't exactly look to dominate at set pieces, which is the kind of CB we've needed since Adams really.
